Sounds like your doing great as usual, what happened to med schoool??? I'm back in good ol N. Adams doing great, have never been happier in my life. Living the single studly life I have been dreaming of for years. No more crazy relationships with me moving across the country!!! How foolish of me!!!!! Love is truely blind!! Moving into a new shag pad April 1st. should work out very nice. You will have to let me know when you are coming back to this area so we can get together..
Love and kisses Sophie!!

why pudding race? the poem..
Ode to a haggis Robert Burns
Ode to a haggis by Robert Burns.
Fair faw yir honest, sonsy face,
Great chieftain o' the puddin-race!
Aboon them a' yet tak yir place,
Painch, tripe, or thairm:
Weel are ye wordy o'aw grace
As lang's my airm.
The groaning trencher there ye fill,
Your hurdies like a distant hill,
Your pin was help to mend a mill
In time o'need,
While thro' your pores the dews distil
Like amber bead.
His knife see rustic Labour dight,
An' cut you up w'ready sleight,
Trenching your gushing entrails bright,
Like ony ditch;
And then, O what a glorious sight,
Warm. reekin', rich!
Then, horn for horn, they stretch an' strive:
Deil tak the hindmost! on they drive,
Till a' their weel-swalled kytes belyve
Are bent like drums;
Then auld Guidman, maist like to rive,
Be thankit! hums.
Is there that owre his French ragout
Or olio that wad staw a sow,
Or fricassee wad make her spew
W'perfect scunner,
Looks down w'sneering, scornfu' view
On sic a dinner?
Poor devil! see him owre his trash,
As feckles as wither'd rash,
His spindle shank, a guid whip-lash;
His nieve a nit;
Thro blody flood or field to dash,
O how unfit!
But mark the Rustic, haggis-fed,
The trembling earth resounds his tread.
Clap in his walie nieve a blade,
He'll mak it whissle;
An' legs an' arms, an' hands will snedd.
Like taps o trissle.
Ye Powrs, wha mak mankind your care,
And dish them out their bill o' fare,
Auld Scotland wants nae skinking ware
That jaups in luggies;
But, if ye wish her gratefu prayer
Ghee her a haggis!

Girl, aren't you supposed to be studying? Dear Soph Soph,
I sit here in the ugly town of Port Harcourte, Nigeria, being the best money collector ever and I ask myself aren't you over there to be studying? Well, I guess experience and travel are life's best education. I miss you honey, lets meet on middle ground some time soon. Love, Yenni

SPLENDID What a splendid time you are having, Sophie. I would love to be on a beach with a penguin pattering up to see me. The fellow cyclists sound like good people. Have fun!

Wish I was There G'day mate! Sounds like you are having a great experience over there. I wish I could escape the craziness of my life and join you in the far less complex world of cycling, tinkling, singing to cows and sleeping between trees. I suppose I will just have to keep pretending that I'm right there beside you........I hope you are having a wonderful time and I can't wait to see you again soon. Hopefully in New Castle eh?! I miss you soph. LV Kel
My house next please Hey Sophie,
My house needs some paint, too, when you come back to Dallas.
It looks very pretty there. What are you seeing on the road on your bike? Flat land, trees, hills? Have fun.
Love,
Kay

Alone Hi Sophie,
Your blog entry sounds like you are alone on this trip to New Zealand. I thought your mom was with you. Hope you are enjoying the trip.
Kay
Wishin I was with ya! G'day mate! Sounds like you are well on your bicycle adventure! Wish I could be pedalling along side you....but knowing me and my luck with bikes I'd probably get my toe stuck in the pedal and fall face first in to the pavement.....hmmmm.....hope you have better luck with bikes than I do! Miss you heaps and think about you often!
boomerang roo Mundo Bella, what an excellent adventure! Sadly it coincides with me being a Sydneysider until March. But work will boomerang me back to S Island NZ at that time, and am looking forward to lending a helping farm hand. Big love. JDC
