Una's contract has been extended for another 6 mts, which is good news.Caitlin's course finishes in March, then job hunting.Well have a great time in Aussie & hope everything works out for you.Love & God Bless Pat& Ann xx
Hope you had a lovely trip to Ireland. Great news for Una! Yes fingers crossed everything works out in Australia, I'll just take it as it comes. Will hopefully meet up with Tadhg at some point but I'm sure mum will text if there's any baby news. Hope all's well in Scotland! xxx
Gosh, what trip of a life-time!! Yet still a lot of the world left to see!!! Lovely to receive your news after a bit of a wait. So cheers up my day from the routine of the everyday.
What adventures you are having, best so far as you say living with the families in Malaysia and nursing
trees back to health. Manila, flooding! Remember getting the monsoons in Singapore! You made it to the airport by any means, well done. Now back in civilisation, Sydney.Nicely reassuring seeing many familar things. Bet you miss Asia, long time eight months! Best of luck with job hunting and a home of
your own! Keep blogging. Love Mrs K
Mrs K! Lovely to hear from you! Not missing Asia yet but I'm sure when I'm back to work and bill paying and things, the novelty of civilisation will wear off and I'll be missing my backpack! Hope all is well back home xxx
Sorry Happy Birthday for the 21st. I realised that I put the 9th - put it down to old age!!
Your Mum and Dad are coming to stay next week for a few days when we are going to see 'Once' in the West End.
Take care and with love, Anne xx
Keep writing Need to know what you are up to and when you'll be ready for possible visitors. I'll try and email you a birthday card, but in case of problems, Happy Birthday for the 9th. Keep in touch. About to start my retirement officially.
Take care, look after yourself, with love, Anne
Well I'm planning on staying in Sydney for a while, I'm job hunting and house hunting here so once I'm set up I'll extend the official invite! Sounds like retirement is needed when you start confusing your dates! Enjoy it and I have no doubts you'll enjoy 'Once' - very jealous! xxx
Enjoy the next leg of your trip. Cecilia, Delighted you had such a wonderful time in S.E. Asia. It was certainly a great adventure. I will really miss those brilliant blogs. You write so well, that I felt I was almost there. All back to school here in Clonmel, busy with assignments and the usual after school activities. Hope all goes well for you in Australia. Looking forward to hearing all about it. Ann & Pat travelling around Ire. for the last 10 days and back to Scotland tomorrow, 30.08.13. Siobhán Browne's baby due on Mon. next. Talk again soon. Mar.
Thank you very much! There may be future blogs if I feel I have Aussie adventures to report but we'll see. Need to get a job and somewhere to live first and I'm not sure that will make for a particularly interesting read! Can't believe it's back to school time already. Hope Seamas gets on well in secondary school and Eibhlin did well in her exams. Hope you had a nice time with Ann and Pat. I shall hopefully meet up with Tadhg Browne now that we're both in Sydney so he can update me on any baby news. Talk soon xxx
Well done Hi Cecilia. Congrats on your mountain climb & reaching the summit despite the fact it was so exhausting. Nice to be able to relax now for a few days. It was lovely to speak to you last week when we stayed with your parents. Had a lovely few days in Hants & London, also had dinner @ Matt's & Nicola's new house. Yes sorry for the delay! The first few weeks in Indonesia weren't exciting enough to warrant a new blog and then before I knew it, it had been quite a while since my last entry! Hope you had a lovely holiday in Torremolinos! If you fancy a trip to Australia, let me know! We should be heading there for a year after Borneo and the Philippines. Glad to hear Una's doing well. Mum told me you'll be visiting Fareham soon so I shall make sure I skype when you're there xxx
You are having a wonderfull adventure! Love recving your blogs, get quite exited when i see the entry to know what's happened to you. Hope your foot's better now and your bruises are gone. Thought you did an excellent dive off the boat! Can't believe you've been away for six months. You must be smelling really nice after your first bath since starting out. Really thrilled to get your card from singapore. Pleased you've seen raffles hotel, i used to have coffee in there!!!
Hello Mrs K! Yes the foot is all healed and the bruises gone. I'm going to climb the highest mountain in SE Asia in a couple of days though so I'm sure I'll pick up some new injury! The Raffles Hotel looked so lovely, I wanted to visit the museum which was supposed to show photos and memorabilia of the hotel's heyday but sadly it was closed when we went. I really enjoyed Singapore and thought it would be a fantastic place to work for a year. Such a cosmopolitan place! Thank you, I was quite pleased with the picture of me diving! Hope all is well with you xxx
Amazing tavels Great to see that your are enjoying your travels and that you and Beth are looking so well. The Perhentian Islands looked amazing and truly beautiful. It's great to read your blog and keep enjoying yourself,
Thank you for your card - as I write this lazy Dave is in the kitchen cooking tea. He is doing very well. I had the op yesterday and all went well despite LD insisting I showed him where all my relevant document just in case! Yesterday my foot was more or less painless - probably the pain block so I'm not sure if whether they broke my toe in 3 or 4 places! I am more aware of aches etc today and expect the next couple of days it might get worse. However, once I am fully recovered I fully intend to enjoy my retirement and could well end up seeing you in OZ.
Keep in touch, enjoy yourselves and take care. With love, Anne xx

Postcard Hi Cecilia - really enjoyed reading this blog. So much has happened to you both. I thought the water and clay treatment was hilarious! Such fun! It's a pity that you are having to 'slum it' again ... Perhaps Dad will surprise you with some 5 star treatment. I hope you enjoy your R&R at the beach with Beth ... You both must be exhausted! Stay safe and enjoy the next leg of your trip. Thanks for your postcard ... It was a lovely surprise.
Hi Cecilia,Well you did ask for it!It must be wonderful being in a hot climate for most of the year & obviously when the temp. drops you must really feel it!No sign that the temp is rising here.Have booked a holiday to the Costa Del Sol 24 May for 2 wks, so looking forward to that.Doing up the bedrooms @ present, place reeking of paint , but looking bright & fresh.

your blog Hi Cecilia.I really feel sorry for you , that you are feeling the cold, when we have endured about 5 months of it & now we have got torrential downpours & gale force winds! Anyway, lovely reading your blog & hearing about your exploits. Hope your foot has healed up?All well here in Scotland. Una & Mgt both well. Una has a few courses to do in the next few weeks in relation to her work. Love & God Bless xx

Happy Easter Have you come across any Easter eggs? Another really interesting blog - I really enjoy reading them. Take care and enjoy your travels.

Clonmel Hi Cecilia, Delighted to hear of your great travels again. Sounds amazing.
Here in 'Boring Clonmel', Séamas got his Confirmation last week. All went well and we had a nice family gathering (mainly O'Briens, except for Susan and Seán) with dinner in Minella Hotel. His next celebration is his 12th birthday on next Friday (Good Friday). Eibhlín is doing a course in a private college in Waterford this week to help towards the Junior Cert. The others are all on their Easter hol.s for 2 weeks, so are enjoying the rest. I am still covering at work for the girl who went to Australia for 5 weeks but she should be back on Wed, so life should be a bit more relaxed then. Keep in touch. Looking forward to the next exciting instalment and more fab photographs. Keep safe, God Bless, Mar.
I've left England to go travelling around South East Asia, followed by Australia and New Zealand and wherever else money will allow! I've gone with one friend. We've given ourselves a two year time frame and have saved for a year and a half, but we do plan to work in Australia to subsidise further travels!... full info
