I've finally arrived in the fabled Queenstown, home of skiing, rediculous adventure pursuits and great nightlife, but more of that in a bit. Before I arrived here I was in Franz Josef, home to well, a big cold slab of ice sliding down the mountains, as in Franz Josef glacier and not much else. Franz Josef is a nice town, but small, there's only two streets, one with the hostels and one with the shops and pubs so there really is only one reason to go there and that's to climb the glacier which is a couple of miles out of town.
