Our first full day in Paris! We enjoyed being able to sleep in after a full day of travel. Gajal and Ly bought us a nice breakfast consisting of crepes, jam, and grapes. Since Claire and I are caffeine addicts we also headed across the street to find ourselves some "coffee." Apparently Europeans don't offer "American coffee," they prefer coffee in the form of espresso which comes in teenie weenie cups. Oh well, we still put our cream and sugar in it anyway. Once we had our hearty breakfast, it was time to explore some more sights. Oh wait, we still have to meet Michelle! (my cousin) We had arranged to meet at the Cafe Bleu at the Gare de Lyon train station...running a little late and no cell phone in tow but we made it! ... read more

We left Philadelphia airport around 7:55pm on Wed, and arrived to Charles De Gaulle Airport at 8:15am on Thurs! We have now just been on the airplane for over 7 hours, and needed to catch up to being 6 hours ahead in Europe. (I won't even go into why we almost missed our flight out of Philadelphia, considering we got there with 2 hours to spare). Fastforward to the lovely country of France, with its lovely people, and lovely manners, and oh wait...scratch that. After being in France for only an hour, I was ready to unleash the "Bonjour Bitch" and not care. What are French people's problems anyways?
