Hey guys! First & foremost, I have been an avid follower of your blog since I started to plan my first trip to Thailand & Malaysia. I went in February for my honeymoon & fell absolutely in love with Thailand - your blog was such an amazing resource for me so thank you! I'm planning to return to Thailand in February 2013 - and also spend 8 days in Boracay. I know you mentioned you stayed in Station 3, but I'm wondering if you recall the name of the place you stayed in? Was it easy to find a place just walking up or did you have to scope out a few? Hi Stephanie, Thanks for the message and we're glad to hear our blog was helpful for your trip :) We honestly don't think the place we stayed in Boracay even had a name. We got recruited by an accommodation tout at the pier who took us to look at a few rooms. It may be one of the places where it is actually useful to use the help of a tout. There are a lot of places to choose from around station 3 and it should be easy to just walk up. We may actually be there at the same time as you depending on when you will be there in February. Keep us posted and sorry we can't give you a specific name. Take care! Jessie and Nate

Hi you guys! I am so, so sorry to hear of your robbery! I can't even begin to imagine how truly scary that must have been! But as you clearly already know, the only thing those animals (that carelessly refer to themselves as humans) got were material things that can be replaced. The most important thing is that you weren't harmed in any way. I hope you're feeling a little settled now from all that craziness, and back to enjoying your travels. Quite possibly one of my favorite blogs!
Hi Jessie and Nate - I really, really enjoyed reading this blog! Nate! - I didn't know you wanted another tat!! It looks so cool, but all I could say when I was looking at the pic was "ouch!" Then the story about the ID in the store was a serious LOL! Every time I think of the store clerk not believing that was your ID because of the pic, I start laughing again! Oh yes, and hitting the top of the camper van at the parking structure was good for a great laugh, too!! And the hot springs ... aahhhh ... I love hot springs so much, you reminded me I haven't been in one for quite some time! I think it's time to head to Desert Hot Springs here in CA, real soon! Speaking of CA, Nate - don't think I didn't notice the California t-shirt you were wearing in some of the pics! Way to go buddy - you do us Californian's proud!! As always, stay safe and happy! We miss you Lawtons!
Hi guys! So good to hear from you! We can't believe it has been almost 7 months already that we have been gone! It sure doesn't feel like it, time really does fly. We will actually be home in late November/early December for 2 weeks and will definitely plan a visit to catch up! All the boys are getting so big...I can't believe it! I will be the shortest one before you know it! Alice, I think you might have me by like an inch. :) Max we watched your first music video and are so proud of you...we thought you'd be playing the guitar, definitely surprised us with your manly singing voice. It's really good! Ben, how is everything going for you? Are you an allstar soccer player yet?? And Georgie...what have you been doing this summer? We Love You Guys!!!
We just read through the blog and looked at ALL the pictures. We are so proud of you! You both look AMAZING and we can't believe you'll be gone for another year. Max will be in college when you get back (how weird is that???) All well here. We were in Portugal for a while this summer (no surfing though ;-( as the surf was too rough from some kind of bizarre wind that usually comes in September). hey guys, congratulations for your decision to start such a wonderful journey and also for your great work here in the blog. I lived in Cambodia for A YEAR and now your blog refreshed all my memories from there: dirty and noisy phnom penh, phsar thmey, orrusey market, their weird foods, bugs and frogs, fried bananas…you are damn right! The food in BB world sucks! I could only eat Indian food. Although you haven’t stayed there for a long time, you could address the character of city and people pretty well. Congratulations! And I liked this post especially for the matching pyjamas! Damn right about Cambodian women …! Nate and Jessie, I wish you success throughout your journey and life…
