For my sister Anitha who is here since Aug 2006, this was her first fall and this trip was for her The 444-mile Natchez Trace Parkway commemorates an ancient trail that connected southern portions of the Mississippi River, through Alabama, to salt licks in today's central Tennessee. The National Scenic Byway and All-American Road can be experienced through driving, hiking, biking, horseback riding, and camping. We took a drive through the portion of the Natchez Trace Parkway close to Nashville, TN. We were a week too late to witness the full foliage of fall colors.
