Oh Crud! Now that Maddie has seen that spider, she will NEVER leave North America... Thanks for the update (and the postcard for Turner... he was way excited). Love to both of you! -Mollie
Woohoo! Happy New Year,
glad to see you guys are having fun. Something I thought you might like to check out is a band called Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers. They are from the Arizona, so they have a lot of Hispanic ties and sounds. Anyway continue on in contemplation and exploration.

Amazing Great pictures. Absolutely beautiful country. As I read about your latest adventure, I couldn't help but think back through time. Who would have thought that we would be spending Christmas in such amazing places. We are truly blessed. We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year!

thanks Thank you so much for all of the beautiful pictures and descriptions. I'm so happy that you are still traveling and also that you've found a place to settle for awhile. Hopefully I can come visit in the spring when I graduate from school. You guys definately made the right decision when you had to come home last time, but hopefully nothing will come between you and your adventures this time. Living vicariously as well.

Love your pictures Hi Natalie and Tim,
It looks like you guys are having a blast. I really enjoyed looking at your pictures. My favorite was Playa del Carmen. Wish I could be there. Trino says HI. Well, gotta Go. Take Care!

Ah...the good ole days of young and carefree I am personally loving reading your blogs. They remind me so much of the days so long ago when I was a military 'brat' scooting around the globe and meeting and seeing new and interesting things. You two take care and be careful out there!
Heaven Wow. You guys hit the mark; bullseye. Your pictures of Antigua look fantastic! And what a pretty name for a gorgeous eye catcher. Living vicariously...THANKS.
home sweet home Looks like a great place to land for awhile.... all the volcanos!! wow. you both are truely lucky and amazing for taking every opportunity that comes before you... your my inspiration!
well I hope you do make it to South America within the next year, as I may be heading that way soon. My freinds who moved to New Zealand have been a bit dissapointed so they might shorten their year-long stay and head over to south america. Which means I could visit two great friends on one beautiful continent!!! I will keep you posted. Until then...keep the updates coming, they bring color to gray and rainy washington.
love ya's, lindsie
On the Beach! Sorry, we didn't stay on the beach. We stayed on Fifth Ave. at a quaint little place called Conchita Maria, it was about $25U.S. per night. The place where that photo was taken was near Burger King. If you turn toward the beach at B.K. on 5th it will be the first hotel on your right. There's a long corridor into the desk and then there's a beautiful courtyard and beach front dining. We don't know the name though, all we did was eat there.
Good Luck and Buen Viaje!
Where is this photo taken? what hotel? I am looking for someplace cool and beautiful and on the beach to stay in Playa Del Carmen? any suggestions? Thanks!
Exciting times Your posts make me want to pack my bags and get the f#*k out of dreary Spokane. So I might have to restrain myself from reading them, for if I continue I might do something rash. Keep it up. I look forward to your next post. peace.
to answer your question to answer your question about fair skinned preference in latin america. the people that control latin society are descended from the spanish, which are white. second on the ladder is spanish+native mixed, third is naive. and the native are of course brown. your skin color is an indication of where you stand in society based on the amount of spanish blood you have.
Tim and Natalie are a couple of woohooers who travel light, play a lot, and enjoy good company on a global scale. We travel to learn about ourselves, others and the planet. Live to love, love to live with peace, humility and open arms. Oh and maybe a pint or two! Cheers, Nat and Tim... full info
