The 007 Dream Team Your Swiss Alps days sound like boot camp for the next James Bond movie! You must show your future children all of these pictures...you will never lack for respect! I love you!
I am speechless........WOW!!!! What an excellent adventure! I does not surprize me one bit that David would embark on such an excursion knowing his appetite for risk. Chelsea you are the girl!!!! I am totally impressed and look forward to a live rehersal of the entire adventure. This is a story worth telling again and again. Danny
Ahhhh.....you guys are crazy!!! But what a day! And so glad you are both in one piece! I had tears in my eyes while reading and then looking at the pictures. Thank the Lord for his wonderful protection. oxoxoxoxo
Wow. What an experience to visit and hear about the Nazi treatment of Jews. It must be very difficult for the german people to know that their ancestry is associated with this type of treatment of fellow human beings. Even though it is hard to visit this monument, it is great that you did. This honors the tormented and helps to heal the german people.
You are both experiencing so many wondrous sites. Every place you go, you are truly living the experience.
we love you and can hardly wait to hear more.
"Raindrops On Roses & Whiskers on Kittens" Chels, your voice over the phone was sweeter than the "sound of music!" I love you! PS. When you get home we will have movie night and introduce David to Julie Andrews!
wine, not beer, for me, too, Chelsea! I am with you Chelsea, not being a beer drinker. I enjoyed reading your wonderful summary of a place I have not visited. Very sobering to consider the history. We love reading and tagging along with your journey! Very nice picture of you two at the end...love you both. xooox
Wish we were there! Good to hear the latest travel news. The Royal Breakfast looks really good, rather Scandinavian as well. That nightwatchman looks familiar, might have seen him on TV! Love and miss you guys (everything fine at your Seattle home, checked it yesterday). oxoxox
back to your blogs! Catching up on your blogs was at the top of my list when we arrived back from our travels. They are absolutely my favorite reading materials.... Chelsea, I am going to rewatch my Rick Steve's Germany DVD because I think that very same Nightwatchman is on it! I love you both! Call home soon!
the ONLY thing? No, Chelsea did not drive on the Autobahn, I did all the driving, but I only made it to 230km/hour :) C'mon! The only thing you are envious of? What about all the german beer? We saw Hitler's office building today and yesterday we were in a well preserved medieval city on a tour with the night watchman. Humph!
Did Chelsea drive on the autobahn? Hello Champ,
Have you driven on the autobahn yet? Is Chelsea going to take a turn? Probably the only part of your trip I'm envious of. Humph.
Wow, again!!! I loved seeing your pictures of Trondheim and the family there. It is another spectacular Norwegian place. Chelsea, hope you can make up for lost sleep on the night train...sorry about that!!! Safe travels this afternoon to Frankfurt. oxoxx
Other Women... I like the photo of David with his new female crew. Chelsea, I blame you for not subscribing in dress, accent and demeanor to David's true heritage.
WOW, again!!! So wonderful to see Stallvik again and all those wonderful relatives. Mange takk, Oddny and Ingar, for taking such good care of your Americans!!! I think you two, David and Chelsea, are having a spectacular visit and probably are wishing you had more time in each place. On to Smola, to the little bit of Lillenes land!!!
Ireland loves you Your adventures are amazing! I feel that I am sitting in the back seat with you (although it is doubtful three would have been able to sleep in your toyota)! I love you and Ireland does too!
Good Times Your mom- just sent me your blog link and its fabulous- Im glad to see your keeping up on your diving skills-Im excited to hear about the Viking Ship museum and the rest of your adventures
Love ya
diving champ David, your dive is impressive! Do you need to detour to Beijing and bring the gold home!! We miss you and love you both and can hardly wait to see the Norwegian sweaters!
Norway Swim OK David;
I think it's great that you dove into the water and a picture was taken. I think though, that now your going to have to get Chelsea to dive in at the same place. I think it's the only acceptable thing to do.
Norway looks like a wonderful place to visit. So you say that Norway is expensive. We'll see soon enough which place wins in terms of expense; England or Norway.
I have heard alot about Norweigan sweaters. We can hardly wait to see them. I think Seattle is the right place to have such sweaters, especially during fall and winter.

Oleary Wow, that was quite a bit of detective work. You should both open up a private detective agency. Based on the door heigth at the oleary homestead, I think you both are beginning to piece together the puzzle. Yes Chelsea, you are part hobbit!
In all seriousness, it looks like you are really living this experience. You will always remember this. We thank you for sharing your adventure with us.
Well, we are getting ready to head out today. Your blogs are making us anctious to get started and begin to experience the adventure also.
We love you

Many dogs in England Hi...........
This message is a comment to your remarks on the scarcity of dogs in Ireland. Don"t count on this being true in England. The British have a love relation with all animals. You will see dogs in the City of London, in the pubs and I once sat in the same train compartment all the way to York with a Golden Retriever. He and his mistress each had their own ticket. She had the outside seat and the dog had the window seat and never a peep was heard from either one of them. Please keep blogging. It is becoming the joy of Southshore to read your adventures. Love Grandmother
Hi Friends and Family,
First off, we want to thank Brett Meier for that nickname (The Little Kisses), although like any eight-year-old boy, he said it in a taunting manner and with voiced indignation, what Brett didn't anticipate was that David and I actually liked the nickname! We are going to dare to go where no school-aged-boy has gone before and represent "cooties" with honor!
We are a little over a month out until our European Vacation, hopefully with adventures enough to make even Clark Griswold jealous (although Chelsea hates frivolous destruction, so we hope to keep that to a ... full info
