Travel bug Ah, the old travel bug can bite in more ways than one! Great to hear you were able to get over it in luxury rather than in the Chinese Super 8! Sounds like the boys have become travel hardened already - well done guys. SE Asia should be a ball. Keep going hard Team Free!
WOW! Great to hear about the adventure as always! Glad Melissa is feeling better, nothing worse when getting a bug and no western toilets plus bus travel! You were very lucky with the timing! Have fun in Vietnam - look forward to the next instalment. Hope those boys don't get mistaken for girls ... man that hair is getting long! Maybe you could sell it - perhaps as good luck charms? xxxx
Mongolia to China, Wow!!!! Well, this is still such a wonderful adventure for you all. Did Hunter have anything to eat at the Food Markets in Beijing on those sticks? What was yours Marcus & what about you Melissa, did you have anything???? Jackson & Harrison were careful with fruit eh? I remember I was brave when I was there. Great reading once again. Love Mum & Dad xx
Weary little world travellers Troopers!!! they are doing so much and Hunter is growing up before our eyes in all the pictures. Well done boys and Liss I agree with the comment in the blog. Melissa is Amazing!!! lots of love Hels and my 3 boys xxxx
Nice photo's! Hi Guys!
Great to read about all your adventures! We're curious to hear what Jackson, Harrison and Hunter bought with their bargaining skills in Beijing :)! We just got to Xi'an, after 4 days in Shanghai and will head to Yichang on the 31st.
Melissa the Super Star!!!!! OK someone has to state the obvious...Melissa is the Super Star of the Free Family!!!! Mothering 3 boys (& the bigger one lol) has got to win this title hands down :-) Not a feminist viewpoint...just stating the obvious :-)) I can also hear you laughing Marcus....waiting for 'bites' from 'the girls' hahahaha "There's one!!" "There's another...." lol :-)
It's great to read your entries for my future travels. The 'heads up' re the pro's/ con's, up's & down's of the various locations has been very interesting.
Glad you're all having a fab time. Great photos too.
Happy travelling
Cheers
Linylle

Hello Adventurers I bumped into your blog when I was looking for Rob and Jeroens one... Remember the dutch girls from R&J's cabin? Eventhough we met very shortly in the train from UB-to-Beijing, great to read your stories. Hunter, you definitely have the best story when you come back home. That picture of you and the Fanta bottle is neat! You guys were lucky seeing the shooting stars in Mongolia, it probably belongs to a meteoriet-rain (《dont know if you write it like that), which takes place every year in august at the northern hemisphere。 Its not that common to see it。Jeroen and Rob told us that Jackson, Harrison and Hunter got money to bargain at a market。 Thats fun guys! Who made the best deal?
We are almost going home。 Tomorrow is our last day in Beijing,we'll visit the temple of heaven, and then our Trans Syberian Express ends。 I hope you guys are having a blast。 I will try to look for you on facebook, you guys have a good spirit, love to follow your the stories. If you ever go back to the Netherlands, feel free to visit. Then i will show you all a very small town (my hometown) called: Beers。Yes, it excists。 Well, all the best to you all。
Greetings,
Jeanne
