Postcard bliss Hello girls!
Let me just say, Soj, that I was VERY excited to get your postcard! Seeing as my head is in a book for about 90% of each day, something as simple as mail gets my blood pumping! I'm so happy to hear that you two are having a good time, and that you are safe and well!
Australia has been good, it's late fall here right now, but it doesn't get lower than 15C each day...this is definitely the sort of fall/winter season I could get used to! I have three more weeks of school, then Chris and I will be doing some travelling--first to Tasmania, then to Vietnam.
Anyway, I have to get home...Scott Salmon is coming to stay with us for a couple nights, and I probably should be at home when he gets in!
Have fun girls! Love Brandi
informed and entertained.... yes we are! Well ladies, sounds like you are having a jolly good time!! Andy it pretty much seems like you haven't left... you are experiencing IROPS (delays and broken tires) out there. So just make sure to give everyone their options if they want to go later that day or the next day! :) And I'm sure we can find a hotel that we can get disstressed gst rates!! :) heheh ANYWHO! Sure am enjoying the blogs, you guys are great and keep us all informed and entertained.... to say the least!!! Can't wait to read more!!
We miss you andy!!! Miss you Sarge! and mike boyer is hungry....and robin wants you to know that she is leaving for minot(aren't you jealous) in a few days...Char is still very very pregnant.... and life isn't the same around here without you...James says I want to join the andy sonya fan clubb, any t-shirts or buttons available for purchase who are we kidding james wants it for free... ~christina~
Thanks Got your postcards (Sonja how nice of you to send a postcard to Andy) May 8th, thanks. Are your hotels 5 star? Are there bellmen in the lobby to help you with those heavy back packs??
Love,
Mom
big ups hey mans! the cries of europe were much too loud and inviting I shall be departing this vile wasteland of country in June to bask in the sun on the beautiful beaches of 'engscotirelandwales', forage through the dense forested jungles of czeckerland, study religion and abstinence in the beautiful cathedrals of amsterdamland, and be welcomed with open arms on the friendly streets of fagparis! I shall meet you at the church made of human bones 47856 hours after the end of all that is and was and will ever will be. farris... (hint: latitude 42.567, longitude 109.342)
I like your blog Nice blog! You two are funny. Sounds like you're having a lot of fun. Good! I just read your whole blog in one sitting. I think I should be deamed your most dedicated blog-reader.
Sonja, make sure you keep Andy on track and that she buys me a wicked-awesome birthday present in every country you visit. (yes, backtrack to Finland if necessary) Haha! kidding! Cause then all I'd have to give to you is some Saskatoon Berry Preserves. Yum!
bye! Keep up the fun!
Photos Girls, thanks for the photos in the blog.
It is nice to see your faces and read your crazy words.
Are the "baltic states" becoming more modern each time you head south?
Love Mom
WOW! I can't believe you can write so much!!!! That can only mean one of 2 things: 1. You're having an amazing time......(well...obviously) 2. You're drinking your body weight in Euro Moonshine......Both of which are acceptable......Either way keep on givin'er, and keep the Morbidly Obese Blogs a comin!!!.......and get a keyboard that works or isn't in Jib
suggestions for improvement this blog would be better as a video podcast where you wear costumes relevant to whatever city/town you're in. and in each episode you would end it by yelling "EUROPA!" in unison.
My eyes DID pop out of their skull, probably due more to the fact that Andy Sargent went to a hockey game!!! Geez.....EuroAndy is a totally different person. Good work on the bike ride though. Now we can go bike riding (because we couldn't before).
estonia, home of link Hey do you guys remember Encino man? Brendan Fraser was the cave man and sean astin told his parents that he was an exchange student from estonia. Thought it might be relevant.
Ah, the old sour cream and beer diet. Very eastern europe. Although like most ancient culture has faded away in recent years. I think it was big back when that area was known as Bohemia(I don't even know if estonia and latvia are a part of bohemia but Poland and Czech republic are). This comment might be long, but that is only because these english keyboards are so easy to type on. Maybe you guys should ask at the internet places if they have an english keyboard. They usually have at least 1 computer set up for tourists that don't speak russian unlike the rest of us.
Anyway, I subscribed so that I could be more like matt farris and so that i get more emails and feel better about myself.
Hockey hockey hockey hockey hockey Oilers hockey hockey hockey Oilers.
letterman called letterman called he has been trying to track u down...he is looking for a couple of good comedy writers...you two....are hilarious...this is the best read online...but andy....dont think you are "special" or anything...just because u are from helsinki...im glad u are having a great time...it was your turn...bev
Sounds like some interesting places!!!???? (I have a question mark on my keyboard). Have you had any Pickled Herring or other digusting foods. Did you know that it is Finnish? Because when your mother fed it to you and you refused to eat it she said, "FINNISH".
Thinking of you often. I'm sure you are spreading your Canadian culture all over the place and leaving an imprint wherever you go!

Hi there, Tyborg here again.
Nice to hear you're getting plenty of meat on meat on meat action when it comes to your traditional dinners. Looking forward to those pictures, reading is hard.
How would you rate the women of Estonia? Are they as hairy as I've heard? What would you give them on a scale of 11 to 42, 36 being the highest?
what's up?! Hey there buddy-while you're enjoying europa, I'll be soaking up the sun in hot spots like yqr, ywg, and yqu. I know you're jealous!
Anyways, sounds like you're having an awesome time and just wanted to say hi!
Take care out there, and go rough some Latvians up playing hockey.

sounds like you're having a blast! Dandy Andy,... sounds like you guys are having a blast!! I love your dad's comment about you finding a dude to take care of your so he doesn't have to!! HAHHAH soooooooo funny!!! Not much new around here except for the snow... ya snow... how STUPID!!! Today was my first day to log onto the travelblog so I will keep watching and reading!! Keep out of troube!!! heheh RIGHT...
bear? hey ladies, hope all is well.
Just a few questions here,
I thought bear was their national animal? But then they fed that to you. Doesnt that seem weird that they kill their national animal to feed to visitors. I think they are trying to kill anyone that is visiting by serving bear. THink about it.
Also, if you see more of these hot girls, can you take some pictures of them for me?? that would be great thanks.
ciao, thats italian for bye. I wouldnt expect you to know that one seeing how you arent going there.
Oh yeah, that sauna you took, did you rent the whole thing to yourselves? Because I was led to belive that in many places in like finland and sweeden, saunas are shared by lots and clothing is not allowed. Is this the case? If so, refer to the above comment about pictures.
Love you panda, have fun
Tallinn Hello ladies, I hope your ferry trip was smooth. Andy I took an on line virtual tour of Tallinn and the Toompeea Castle. Just a bit a head of you......The markets in Tallinn sound very interesting, lots of knit goods... happy shopping!!!
Love Mom
miss you!!! yo dudes!! seems like you guys are having great times. i am also a weary traveller as i just took the exciting journey from calgary to saskatoon. oh the sights i saw.
Bathrooms Get used to paying for bathrooms, it happens a lot around there. You might see outhouse on the street and stuff that you have to pay for. They are cleaner then regular outhouses but don't try to cheat the system by sneaking two people in. They are on some weird system that self cleans after the door closes the second time, so if you think that one of you can go and then hold the door open so the second person can sneak in without paying, don't, your asking for trouble!
By the way, McDonald's with bbq sauce sounds awesome, too bad the sushii didn't have bbq sauce then people might like it.
Hey do finnish words have lots of n's? I picture finnish as english but with lots of n's. Finnish names have lot of n's, that's all I know.

"Lithuanian man with mad gold grillz selling honey out front!" is this some kind of euro street slang that i'm not familiar with?
