I have only been in Cologne for 5 days, but it feels like it has been a long time. The city has welcomed us with open arms and I have barely had time to sit and think about what has been happening over the last week. Washington DC was definitely a good time. Lots of information and time to meet the other participants. Thanks to Brenna and Rick for housing me in Baltimore on Friday night! It was so fun to hang out with them and catch up! I can't believe that its already time to leave for Germany. My plane departs Austin, TX a week from tomorrow. Its been a wonderful summer with a few fun vacations. Lots of kids, a couple of moms...we'd play car games and scream in joy when we found the random Hawaii license plate in the middle of West Texas. My mom and I took a short roadtrip up to Aspen to see my Uncle and enjoy the mountains for a few days. When we arrived we were greeted with a very small snow shower, which my mom thought was incredible for the Spring. ... read more
