Hi.... We have been following you , and your trip has looked amazing. And as always Im sure you've taken a "billion" fantastic photos on your camera. (I hope its not a digital one and you are still using your Canon T50? ) Enjoy the rest of your time.....come visit Wellington, we'd love to hear all about it in person! Travel safely
You've seen heaps! Obvious from the photos more than one ship in port at a time. We also went whale watching in Juneau and were told that the humpbacks don't often give a tail display upon diving so you got to see some good ones. We saw one with a white underside to her tail like your first photo. The guys had a name for her (which I can't remember) and apparently she hangs around the area a lot. Don't worry, the weather isn't any better here :(
Great Photos Beautiful scenery, especially the vegetation. An added bonus to see a bear in the middle of it!! That bus brings back memories. Every bus we travelled on in Alaska was like that. A lot of people would have to walk down the aisle sideways. Keep the blogs coming.
Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh My!! You have certainly had a busy first week, and seen your fair share of wildlife. So glad that the weather stayed mostly fine for you, so you could enjoy the view from your tent! I bet if I searched, I would be able to find a hotel with similar views, somewhere in the world - for those of us not wanted to live with nature! Take care xx
Denali.. Sounds like fun..makes our little walk at Whatapu look rather pathetic .. I'm pleased you survived the Bears..Sounds like great camping especially with a bear proof tent..Steph is very brace ..Jennie and I would not even contemplate camping anywhere in the USA let alone a Bear Park.. The photos look great (as usual).. Thanks for keeping us informed..(we had a good laugh at your spelling (big fingers small screen???)... All the best Bruce & Jennie
The end in sight Its been amazing to read your blogs - I can picture every experience. Looking forward to family slide night, so we can see all 13647 photos! By the time you get this, you will be in wind-down mode, enjoying coffee and showers, and real flush toilets. Luxury, I tell ya, luxury!
Enjoy your last few days, and continue to stay safe. Annie and I will see you at the airport in a weeks time, so we can be first to hear all the stories. Love to you all, xxx

message from Alan and Anna Glad to know you having a great time. It is 25th June 2013 and it is 12.39 pm and this is the first blog we have had for quite a while since you were in Botswana. It must have been a great experience to see the gorillas and also to see the memorials of those who died in Rwanda. Looking forward to having another blog from you.
I am enjoying your blogs Craig they are making me very envious. Happy birthday to you old man, tell Steph to keep an eye out for a walking stick. Glad you are having such luck with the wildlife, Steph certainly likes them tall. Happy travelling. Xx

We have been having a ball, we are back at Garden Court Hotel right now and we leave on our big overland tour tomorrow morning!

Sorry!!!! I really am sorry that it has taken me so long to reply to any of your blogs but here goes.
We are certainly enjoying all you have to say about your trip thus far and in particular those great photos of the various animals. You sure have hit it there. You are most surely having a great time and the main thing is you are obviously keeping well and thats great.
All is well here and we are keeping fine. We had lunch( usual hot roast meal) at Annettes today with Anita and Ryan and were able to say our farewells to them as they left for the airport.Lets hope all goes well with you all.
Just remember the old family adage " everything will get back to your father" so just behave yourselves.
Looking forward to further blogs,
God bless and be safe
Lots of love

Hello from Victoria Falls Hi Lois
Great to hear from you - we are having an amazing trip - it's hard to believe we've only been away 3 weeks when it seems like we've seen and done so much already. The "surround sound" in the bush was a little nerve-wracking, but very memorable - as will be our one night of luxury staying at the Victoria Falls Hotel!
Take care & lots of love -
Steph and Craig
No wild animals here Hi , sounds like you are having a fabulous time and only 7 days with a shower..life here is just the same at work but we have a new grand-daughter ..un-named as yet but looks fantastic. she was born on the 5th..everyone loves the photos but we are a bit concerned that you have let Steph hold the camera let alone use it..all the best and hope to hear from you again soon..
Sounds like fun Hey, great to catch up with the blogs. Sounds like the lists are being ticked off so well done. Any chance of adding our email to you send out list??? Take care out there.
Great stuff! Awesome that you caught up with the Leopard. Now that you\\\'ve finally seen one, no two, then they\\\'ll start popping all over the place. It\\\'s a bit like breaking the duck in cricket. Very envious. Looking forward to what\\\'s to come but please throw in a rock or two somewhere for old times sake. Love the cheetah shot.

New York, New York.
Hi guys, enjoying the blogs. This one certainly brought back memories for us having visited NYC in 2011 and again in 2014. Didn't get into the Yankee Stadium in 2014 but had lunch at the Hard Rock underneath it while a game was being played in the park and watched it on the 55 super large TVs in the Café...well it seemed like that many. You missed a great experience by not going down into the 9/11 museum. We went in 2014 just a couple months after it had been opened and it was simply fantastic....something that the Americans really did well. Sounds like you walked about as far in NYC as we did on the two trips...however didn't cycle around Central Park...paid a guy on a pedicab to take us around some of it and walked the rest. Sounds like you are having fun!!!! Make sure you go to the many/various war memorials in DC...something else that we reckoned the Americans did realty well. Try to get to Arlington Cemetery as well...impressive place to walk around. I really enjoyed the 'Changing of the Guard' at the tomb of the unknown soldier. Take care over there. Love from us
