hi It's so nice to hear that you are doing well. I suppose you are enjoying staying in one place for awhile. We are well here. I look forward to your next entry. Deanna
So lucky!! Hi Esther
Gosh, I envy you guys, you are in my favourite city in the whole world! I lived there for two years, between 2000 and 2002, and have been offered a job to move back there, so am thinking about it! Have you eaten at Des Nivel in San Telmo, or been to the Bosques de Palermo? Been on a boat in Tigre? I bet the weather is not so great, but it starts picking up now, and it's wonderful in barbeque season. My favourite is going to the outdoor pools that open in November/December all over the city, the best is up by the ciclodome in Palermo....how long are you guys staying there? The summer is fantastic!
I've been enjoying your emails...makes me want to travel all over again. I am not at the moment, as I just bought a flat in London and I am organising that first of all. I plan to rent it out at some point later and maybe move out of London, but it's a good investment. I am teaching English, having found (again!) the 9-5 employer/employee lifestyle not working for me...Not married or with kids yet, but there's always hope!! ;-) Do keep these mails coming. Let me know when you are back in the UK, though wouldn't blame you if you never left BA. Have some good friends still there, so just contact if you'd like some details or any info. juliegilders@yahoo.com x
a secret admirer Hello Esther and Sean!!
Corinne here, remember the Dutch one working for Esrin last year? I'm a secrete admirer of your stories (mostly pics) (got the link from a little English birdie). It's so good to see how much fun you two are having and just seeing where the wind blows you. I liked Sean's intellectual and sophisticated beard! Have tons of fun and keep up the fun!
xx corinne
I'm sure Heather says hi!
My Son My son is 8 years old going on 35. He thinks he knows everything and my husband is 42 going on 5 :) you know men. Hopefully yours isn't like mine. Your travels sound so exciting!!! I give you two a LOT of credit traveling the world the way it is now.
I am very anxious to meet the both of you and I would like you to meet my family as well, the least my son. Mati just trips out on him. He is just to grown up for his own good sometimes.

Talk/Type to you later.
Yolanda
Thanks ! Yolanda.. Hopefully, in the new year we will finally meet one another! Tell Mati we say hi ... It isn´t so dangerous as people in the states think - it´s very cheap to travel South into the Americas. How old is your son?
Machine guns? You are insane!!! Much more braver than I. I can't believe the adventures you two are getting into! Thanks for sharing.
Miss you - BE SAFE!

our paths crossed! Hi Sean and Esther, just found your blog via Clara. Going through it I see we just missed each other! We arrived in Ica on Easter Sunday, stayed in Ocucaje and Huacacina, and visited Nasca, Paracas/Ballestras and the sand buggy to the fossilised whale. Too bad we didn't meet.

Hello (at last) from Nemi Really enjoying your trip, been back in the UK for 5 weeks becoming a grannie again so way behind on correspondence, more news later. In the meantime, get on that bike Esther (if you haven't already!).
Go for it! Thanks for the blog now I think I will check out that church when I come to Arequipa. I think you should do the Misti downhill bike trip that is my plan with my wife and kids when we get to Aqequipa and I would love to hear about it. I was going to go with Saul at Peru Biking Tours at 410-A Jerusalem Street. Happy travels!
How is Paddington? Hi Chaps,
What is it with you two and bones! Everywhere you go you end up looking at some poor souls bones.
What's that about a beard Sean. I do remember you making fun about Dad trying to grow a beard on one of his (many) trips during his time in the Royal Navy.
Have a marmalade sandwich Esther with Paddington when you catch up with him in "deepest, darkest Peru".
Love M.
Beard Has Brian Ball lost weight? He looks tiny! Keep up the good work - I'm expecting a detailed account of Macchu Piccu at some point. That looks like the beginnings of an impressive beard, Sean - is this something you plan to continue? If you need inspiration, pictures of my ex-beard are available here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/filmfan/tags/beard/ (understanding tags and how they work was a real internet breakthrough for me). There's a couple of pictures of you guys on there too somewhere, although if you sign up to flickr (easy, free, quick) I can add you as friends and then you can see the family / friends designated pictures too.
Speak soon!
Matthew

The subjects of your landscape are great and cool. Are you still planning to go to South America? Awaiting for more pictures and extend my regards to Sean. Hasta la vista hermana!
Jim
