After some pretty stressful last minute preparations I made it to Heathrow on Saturday afternoon looking forward to finally be able to relax a bit on the flight and still not quite believing that it is actually all happening now - me going to Tanzania to work for VSO (Volunteering Service Overseas) on a weekly talk show educating young Tanzanians about HIV/AIDS. My 24 hour advance check-in with the seat with large legroom in an exit row had somehow disappeared when I wanted to print out my boarding pass. BA assured me that one of the other VSO group members must have done it and not them, so I crammed myself into a regular economy seat for the next 9 hours.
