The Matt & Mom Excursion Team began the journey with a 2-hour delay sitting, at a 34.3-degree angle, on the northern-most runway of the beautiful Tulsa International Airport. The Team cherished the moment by viewing it as additional quality bonding time. By the end of the runway time, we runway rats were a pretty tight-knit group. Thank God for delays. That cut our Chicago layover from 4 to 2 hours. We would rather have been on the Tulsa runway for 2 hours singing with friends than sitting in the Chicago airport for those 2 hours. Finally, we received clearance and we were in the air. It was very strange. The Mom team member thinks she saw the familiar circles of the Fulton work pods and a song kept coming to mind…some country song about taking this
