Torres del Paine... aka Towers of Pain Your hike looks amazing! We did it last year at the end of April and were absolutely freezing our asses off in our tent at night, but at least there weren't many people... We didn't find any shortcuts tho - and I don't think Elliott managed to get a single photo with me smiling ;) Also, we don't have hiking boots, and couldn't fit any of the rental ones, so we did it Old School: In trainers!
We also saw the Perito Moreno glacier, only in pouring rain. We spent most of our day there drinking hot cocoa very slowly to avoid having to be outside! Didn't even know there was a mountain behind it as I can now see from your photos that there is :) You're very lucky, princess, to see it with such an amazing blue sky!!
Gifts Your lucky you made the comment about me paying for your jacket...and just how hell are we supposed to send you a Xmas/Birthday gift when you are travelling day to day? Don't pull the guilt trip, your the one who wanted to be away for your birthday and Xmas!! You'll have to come home for your Xmas $$, dad put 100 bucks and the usual lottery tickets under the tree for you. It will probably still be there when you get home.

Big sis
me again! (from Deutschland!) Dear Sharman!
Haven´t seen or mailed you a looooong time! Happy new year and best wishes from Munich/ Germany! I am glad you seem to feel well in Argentina. I am jealous! At the moment I am busy doing my practical two-year teacher traineeship, so I can´t make long trips this year...(at least last year I had the chance to spent 5 months in East Africa, but I wasn´t very busy writing mails or weblogs....). Anyway..
All the best, and do Europe next....;-)
Cheers David
soooo great to talk to you today Sharm!!! Love the pics...the salt flats are so cool!! St. A will not be the same this xmas without you! I hope you have an amazing holiday time and hopefully speak to you again soon!! miss you way too much!jen
she said yes! I'm engaged!! No joke this time. Well I'm still a joke but the engagement is not. Can't wait to get some celebration slushies when youre back!!
OMG Stay strong my intenstin-ally challenged friend. Hostel shits are the worst - augh the sounds, the smells, the people coming in and out. Do you remember Mr. Flaska from gr 5 and his colostomy bag story he shared? Scared for life. Wow I just creeped myself out and am disinfecting my keyboard. Germs!
I will think of you sand boarding while I am up at Sunshine on Saturday. Lots of love and gentle Charmin wipes :-)
guinea pigs?!! sharman!! amazing!! i don't know how you do it - its like eating a mini lucy! i'm glad that it wasn't on a stick!! hope you're feeling better - miss you!
Crying at the Summit FTW! Sometimes Alicia and I read your updates, clutch our hands together and say feverently "Thank God that is not me." But really Sharm, when you talk about the food I fall into a pit of jealousy and then hate-eat whatever I can find at my desk - 3 year old crackers, ancient halloween candy, horrible substitutes. Lovely dancer pose by the way! I'll think of you in class tonight. Lots of Love!
I'm proud of you for making it to the summit...sounds like an amazing adventure....makes me so jealous and all that food sounds to die for... as do all the markets and fresh juice.....its getting really cold here in Edmonton... enjoy that heat!!
I really need one Shar shar, if you could see to bringing me back one of them turtles, I'd really appreciate it. Just front like its a fancy purse or something.
Thanking you in advance! Keep the blogs coming xept less speedos and more latinas!!
naked lady Um, so those statues look familiar. I believe I have a miniature version of that curvy mamacita perched on my bookshelf. Sexy.
In other news, the gift you got me is ridiculous -- ridiculously AWESOME. Makes me hilariously hungry for carrots every time I pass the fridge.
Editor Hey Sharman,
Good memories come flooding back with each installation of yours on here. I will be a prick though and correct your spelling errors: BoterO (like the O in ColOmbia), sandAls, and diaRrhea. I'll stop now. I already know that I'm a loser. :-)
Be safe.
LOVE IT I love how many times in a single post you can mention farts or poo. hahahaha
So jealous of the beach pics! Glad to hear you're having an awesome time!!!
hotness Um, it totally looks like Lena chopper her hair off in that pic of her in the tighty leggings. I thought she was a dude. A super sexy, but kinda fem, dude.
In other news, I've let some grocery cart, back-lane travelers stay in her room while she's away. I told them to water her plant, so I hope it's ok.
