I included at the start of this blog 2 pictures not necisarily related to the trip down to Shianoukville, they are however pictures of travel in Cambodia. There is a general lack of infrastructure in Cambodia which makes travel through the country a slow process and often interesting. Many of the roads are not complete, some are simply the valleys cut through mountains which resmeble off road tracks rather than roads made up of little more than rocks and dirt. Literally 50 meters when you cross either the Vietnamese or Thai border the paved road ends. On many streaches of the "road" there are no bridges over the numerous rivers you have to cross.
