Envy! Hi guys, hope you're both well. I've very much enjoyed keeping up to date with your adventures and highly entertaining blogs. I'm not going to bore you with stories about things in the UK but I am extremely envious of your tales so far. Make sure you continue to keep us all up to date and keep posting the pictures.
Best wishes

Buses So if buses are so bad is their a cheap reliable faster alternative to traveling through Central America? If you had to do it again, what would you do differently?
Buses To be honest, the buses that we used were better quality than the local ones more often than not, and therefore it's pretty much unavoidable. We do moan on here a lot about the buses, however it's all become part of the experience, and we have learned to take things in our stride, and actually embrace it!
The only thing I would change was the amount of time that we had to get around Central America and Mexico, as we gave ourselves 2 months, and it wasnt nearly long enough, hence being on so many buses, so often.
So, our only advise would be to stay as long as you can in order to see more of the countries of Central America, and/or pick the places you really want to see, and spend more time there. After looking at your travelling resume though, Im sure you figured this out already!!
Good luck, and let us know if we can help you with anything on your travels
Regards Mike and Donna

Hi Bob & Linda. Thnaks very much for the recommendation, it\'s much appreciated. We are glad that you are enjoying the blogs, and hope they give you some insight into some of the places you are looking to travel to. If there is any information you want about any of the places we have been, or if you just want to ask something regarding our trip that may help you, please feel free to either comment on the blog, or send us a message via email @ donnchael@yahoo.co.uk. Thanks again, and good luck on your journey. Regards Mike and Donna
I've recommended you I subscribed to your blog while you were in Mexico and have been following you ever since. The reason I subscribed is that I plan to travel to the same countries as you are, Central and South America and New Zealand and Australia, in the next year or so. I recommended you on Travelblog today because I've enjoyed your consistently amusing writing style. I will take into account your expereinces when I plan my trip, so keep up your good work.
Ola from Mexico! Hi Brian / Jean. Was going to ask Mum to get your email address as I didnt get round to putting it in the address book, and was hoping you would catch the blog!.Unfortunatley (for many people who have had the same comment), i still have the long hair, and the photo is one that we took in the US on our last trip!!. I will be changing it to show that my locks are still there!!. We have managed to email Mum and Dad and they are starting to get used to the email (sort of!), maybe next time you are over there, you can give them a lesson!. In answer to your question, we have had no power cuts at the moment?. Maybe we got lucky!. Anyway, we are having a great time over here, and hope you will read the blogs along the way. If you subscribe, you will get an email everytime we send one. Well hope is well back home, and speak soon. Love M&D

Hi,
Welcome to our blog. Having completed a 9 month trip to the US, Australia and SE Asia in 2005, we were truly bitten by the travel bug.
So, around 5 years later when the time seemed right and we finally had enough funds in the bank, we were off again, this time on a years journey to Central America, South America, Fiji, New Zealand and Australia.
Heading back to the UK after this amazing trip and saving once more for just under a year, we were off again in search another journey, this time taking us to Sri Lanka, India and Nepal.
Unfortunately, our blog only covers our second and t... full info
