Leaving Peninsular Malaysia for Sabah I was allowed to leave my batteries in my check-in luggage, contrary to other Air Asia flights, but I had to take off my belt to go through the checkpoint. There are two airports for Kuala Lumpur, one is the KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) and the other is Air Asia's LCCT (Low Cost Carrier Terminal). I'm quite familiar with the LCCT, having flown in and out of there many times, but Air Asia is moving! There is now a brand new airport, the KLIA2, and Air Asia is moving all their facilities there on the ninth of May.
