Hey! Mr. Melon-Head. WOW John, they get better with each trip. While reading this trip, we were sure we were there with you and Pearl. Loved you pointing out the little things (I would have missed) like the life vest. The children seem to be so happy,,except the little wanting Pearl's candy cotton. Ha!You camera did a great job. Am I the only one that does not know what Bibimbop is made of???? Looking forward to your next trip..Lu
Jakarta Trip Hi Kiddo,
It seems strange that your idea of Jakarta, does not match your pictures. The city looks so updated. Beautiful buildings, your hotel room looks better than the one Tammy and I stayed at in NY City. Other than being sick, I hope you enjoyed the trip. At least you get to expierence all these cultures. Love ya....keep on trucking....
Huh, no marathon?! So you don't think it would be a good idea to run the Great Wall marathon, eh? I think my orthopedic surgen would suggest differently. I'm sure he would have a blast working on my knees after that. I'm glad you are enjoying your down time over seas. We'll have to get together again next time you are in the States and we can exchange stories. I'm sure you have plenty more yet to be told...
The Man Son, we are so impressed. As you translate to us what your eyes were able to see and pass it on to us in writing, is very impressive. We are very proud of you. You saw so much of history going to China and seeing the life of another culture. You must have been emotional when you saw The Wall. Can you imagine the hours and lives it took to build it.!!You really did a great job with the photos. We have learned so much through you....Thanks!!!!
i have one word for ya dad--jealous. i am so jealous. i remember when i went to london and you were jealous of me, now you are seeing more of the world than i have!! anyway i'm glad you had a blast. love ya--leighanna
Your Hotel Apt. John, this is really great..to what you had. It's pretty large for just one person. Speaking of people, or the like! I didn't see Punch in any of the pictures. Did I miss something???? I love your stove. you must have two ovens. The new refrig. is very nice. You can cook now, Chief Jon!You have a nice car. What a wonderful view!
Hey Dad the trees are so beautiful. I must say I enjoyed reading about your adventures in hiking, and I am throughly intrigued by this "punch" guy ya'll keep talking about. I want the whole story on him. You should finish your hike trail thingy too. I want to go hiking, we should go sometime. love ya
loved S. Korea's Spring photos!! The photos you took were fabulous!! You really got the feel for the celebration. I'm glad you're having fun, wish I could be there!! Nice job, John. Can't wait for more.
You're in trouble Hey Butch... I looked on the internet for those 4 temple guys... hopefully you bowed to them as well... if not, it says you're in for 10 years of bad luck! lol!
You're Brave You are getting better at this. Enjoyed this adventure today. Can't
wait until the finish. The scenery along the way is educational. What
an experience for you. You look great with your new face cover. The entire hike must be very difficult for you. Were you sore this time???
Waiting for the next chapter. Love Ya!!!
Hey! I saw Punch in DG and he was doing the back stroke in the Indian
Ocean. but you need to buy him a bathing suite. This was a wonderful
story and the pictures are professional. Can see why you would like to
go back again. Beautiful City. and how fortunate you are to have seen it. Thanks, for sharing
John, John,
Thank you for taking us on your adventures. You do have a way with words. It all sounds very exciting.
By the way.... do you work???? Glad you are taking all this in and enjoying yourself.
Keep sending these. They are fun. I like the way the pictures are inserted into your text.
All is well here. Love ya!!! Aunt Janet
"Climb that Mountain"JOHN I've really enjoyed reading about your experience. SO sorry you couldn't stand up. but glad those trees were in the proper place. You are lucky not to have broken anything. I worry about you, as you will climb higher. Hang on to those rocks, son. Show those hikers how we come down those mountains. Tee Hee!!!I look forward to the next chapter of "Life on the Dark Side"......
40 Hrs in Singapore Gee wiz Johnny, don't they have barber shops in that area of the world? Also, I'm very disapponinted that the Punchinello did not make the trip. Do you even let Punch out of the house?
