Your having too much fun!! You'll notice I've turned a deeper shade of green to balance the rose coloured sunrise. That mine area will the perfect place to find vintage machinery for next months competition.....I'm greener again!! You two wont want to come back to quiet little Quaama after this journey, so please keep on enjoying and bring it back on Kodak....er, sand disc. OK
Thanks Carolyn. Green is a lovely shade of colour!!! Ha ha. Yep, scenery and other photographic material to last a lifetime, not just a year, out here. But don't worry, we will come home. Cheers Di
good life Great you two are relaxing and wandering at will! Sounds like you are having luck running into some interesting locals for some extra stories as well!!
Happy travels!
White Cliffs You really are out the back of beyond now, di! Loved the sculptures, I miss making those from odds and ends like I used to on the farm. Haven't been to White Cliffs, but would enjoy having a fossick there, went to Lightning Ridge about 1982 for a week and enjoyed it, but could never live out there.
Thanks for sharing your wildlife photos too, you will have lots of memories of your trip.
Safe travels.
Cheers,
Annette
Fellow Grey Nomads? Fellow Grey Nomads? My God. Was a bit shocked to realise that that's what we are now. Grey retirees...
Trip sounds wonderful. And the photos are great. Really good perspective of the land out there. I feel as though I can almost breath it in. The birds are pretty amazing too. I remember out at Mungo having what I later discovered were ... OMG! Having a seniors' moment. Can't remember what they were called! Anyhow, they flocked around our camping spot all the time like seagulls, eating from our hands. Did you take some instruments with you? Great to be able to access your blog via Facebook. Love to you both. X
Florida! Well, I knew it was a long trip, but didn't think you would get to Florida! Love your photos, it's so long since I was out that way. I'm enjoying hearing of your adventures and discoveries.
Safe travels.
Cheers

Chilly! I am enjoying hearing of your travels, as you are going thru familiar territory for me! I was born and raised at Gulgong, left when I got married at 20 and moved to Mudgee! Have been to Hill End, Wellington and all points further on! Glad the wagons are behaving and look forward to your next blog. Cheers, Annette
Never daunted! Well done, girls, glad to hear you have begun your adventure and over the wettest bits safely!
Look forward to seeing and hearing more of your travels.
Take care.
Cheers,
Annette
