Photos Hi Dianna,
I am the Tourist Officer in Burra and we are trying to source a picture to showcase our tourist drives at the Caravan and Camping Show in February. If possible, could we use your salvation Jane picture at Mt Bryan for our poster? The booborowie road picture is also very lovely. I hope to hear from you soon. Many thanks,
Jessica
very nice Stevenson Screen Your Stevenson Screen looks to be almost ideally sited -- presuming the out-of-view landscape is equally open. I hope you don't mind if I make use of your picture as an example of what a well-sited SS looks like. Please let me know, especially if you'd prefer that I not use it. If you send me a credit line, I'll include it on the slide.
Thanks very much,
Pat

walk duration.... Hi Diana, We're heading up to the Barossa this weekend and this walk you describe sounds good but I'm curious to know how long it took you? And would you call it easy, medium or hard walking? And any final advice you have..
Thankyou
Our recent stay at Mawson Lakes... ...My wife & I have recently returned to our home here in North Yorkshire U.K. having spent a wonderful five weeks staying at Mawson Lakes just outside Adelaide City...We were there for our younger son's wedding actually, which was held at the Botanic Gardens in the City...The weather was perfect, the ceremony was very nice & the reception was absolutely fantastic too & we would like to return there next year & catch up with the many friends we have over in Australia...Such a wonderful country with so many friendly people there.
Where and when can these be found? Hi Diana
I am doing a project on these and would love to know the precise location of where these were taken. I want to photograph these for a collage on the Fly Agaric. Also time of year please would be great. ryanh99@tpg.com.au

Makes bushwalking a mission with a twist or two all over the world.
You'll probably get hooked now.

student I HAD HOMEWORK TO RE-SEARCH ABOUT THE STEVENSON SCREEN AT THE AIRPORT. MY NAME IS KONDWANI SILWEYA FROM ZAMBIA. DOING GRADE 8.THANK YOU FOR THE PHOTO IT IS DIFFICULT FOR ONE TO GO TO THE AIRPORT IN ZAMBIA BECAUSE IT IS FAR AWAY FROM HOME.
Mt Bryan Cairn Thanks Diana, I was so pleased to see a photo taken from the Mt Bryan Cairn, including part of the Orientation Plaque upon it. This place is of special interest to me, as my grandfather (Geo S. Tiver) used to be the owner of the surrounding property "Rupara".
I built the Cairn in 2002 with my family & friends as a replacement for the original one which had been demolished by the government to make way for a 'Trig' & communications tower. I moved mine to the south by 100 metres or so for that reason.

i first heard this song in grade 5. it was in a song book that the school had purchased and every now and again we wood sing out of it. every time we listened to music in class this song was always chosen. by a couple of weeks we all new it of by heart and were begging our teacher for a break so we could listen to it. i think it is a great song still...
Quinn relations I am wondering if Thomas Quinn was a relative of james Francis Quinn born c.1842 in County Clare and arrived aboard the Nugget in 1854?

About us
We are a family who use our Sundays to discover, explore and enjoy the serenity of the world around us while getting some exercise.
We live in Semaphore, a beach-side suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. Although Adelaide and it's suburbs are quite flat, there is a range of hills that run North-South that provide for many interesting walks.
Here are some quotes that say some of what it means to us to go out bush walking.
In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.
