Note: This entry was not written by Mike Bebernes. The Christmas lights are hung, garland outlines store windows, Santa, who is always a jolly white fat man even though it is South America, is propped up in store windows, and it´s 32 degrees...celcius. Its definitely a challenge to be in the Christmas spirit when one is constantly sweating pretty profusely and all the kids are out for summer, not winter, break. I will say that America wins with the most over the top decorations (i.e. store decorations come out in August, carols dominate the radio, and Christmas tree lots occupy any vacant space.)
