hi all from Diane & Dacid Hi all , this blog just gets better and better, over 60k words so far, just right for a best seller travel guide from MK to ..... give it some thought guys. just one comment, how come Megan was left cleaning jimbob AND doing the budget etc etc, seems like wonderwoman to me, have these guys got it easy or what. just kidding..... continue to enjoy, hope you all refresh your funds and Megans passport turns up. Does that mean she has to stay in Australia for ever.... looking at the blog, maybe a good plan. love to all.
Petrol Hi You don't have to remind us of the cost of petrol, can't buy it here now for less than £1.20 a litre. Cost me £65.00 to fill up yesterday! Hope you were not bouncing on that giant pillow with that bad leg. Did you know Simon's girlfireind Lucy is working in McDonalds at the stadium? Look forward to hearing that you are working and where and what.
Great photos Your venture in the campervan up the Australian coast has been exciting but very different to your Asian experience. Thanks for all the commentary and photos. So when and where do you start working for a living again!
So Jealous The pictures just keep getting better and better an I'm just getting more and more jealous. The Weather here is crap at the moment, rain, rain and more rain, with wind and thunder and lightning thrown in for good measure, but hey Lewis Hamilton did win the Grand prix and the Wimbledon final was fantastic. Two more weeks and then I have 2 weeks off work, thank God, just wish I could afford to go where you guys are.
Take care and keep having fun.
Photos Some more really outstanding photo's you will have to do somethink with them when you return, Are you takin them all with the camera I bought you? I was looking for a before and after shot of the famous wound! Take care no more injuries please.
Bit disapointed there's no picture of the wound. Lol. Glad your okay though Adam. You must be gutted about your surfboard.Once again I'm so jealous of everything your all getting to do. Have a fun drive on the way to Cairns. Looking forward to hearing about the job updates. Chanel x

Monday 26th May 2008.
The day started when I awoke at 11:30. As my girlfriend was staying over, I had made arrangements to have sexual intercourse with her at that time. This was not to be however, as ironically whilst she hadnt had a poo for 2 days, I was suffering from an upset stomach and couldnt stop....which I am convinced was from a suspect Big Tasty that I ate the previous day. Not detered from a less that satisfactory start to the day, I arose to make the most of the bank holiday. Pay day was nearing, and thus I was short on funds. I spent most of the afternoon in the bath. After a soak and 2 poo's I met back up with my girlfriend and chilled with her at her parents house. 4 days till payday. It was the first of the Britains got talent semi finals that evening. Some girl and her dog were selected to go through to saturdays show. My girlfriend stayed over that evening. We had both tried to watch the Shawshank Redemption but fell asleep. It's a really moving film, but its not for late night viewing.
Tuesday 27th May 2008.
An early start to the day. I had set my alarm to go off at 8am but ended up snoozing until 9am. I had to re-make the room that I had disembled (pushing the two single beds apart that I had used to make a double. This technique works as a dreat bed substitute, but you can be liable to fall into the gap during your sleep). My girlfriend went home and I was slightly emotional as I dont like being part from her. After a brisk flanel wash and deoderant shower, I started work. Various tasks were undertaken throughout the day. At 1900 hours I decided that I needed a haircut. I would do this once I got paid. My mum had made me a packed lunch for dinner, I had left this at home though so had to make do with a can of pepsi max and dairy milk turkish delight bar. Sustaining. The weather was raininy that day.
Wednesday 28th May 2008.
I started work today at 1600hrs. I spent the morning relaxing and playing Fifa 08 on the PS3. I scored a sensational goal from just outside my own half. I left the replay running until I went into work. It had thundered in the night and my sleep had been disturbed due to an evacuation of my attic bedroom to the more safer confines of my sisters bedroom (which did not have just a 5 inch thick barrier of slate and wood sheilding me from the fury of mother nature). I had tucked myself into bed in my sisters room and stroked gemma as I fell back to sleep. It's probably worth mentioning at this point that my sister is at university in lancaster and Gemma is my dog. My upset stomach had thankfully started to clear up. Work went without incident. I ate dinner at home and quickly popped in to see my girlfriend. Not wanting to take any chances, I slept in my sisters room again.
Thursday 29th May 2008.
Yep you guessed it...I went to work again. I had managed to have a shower just before I went in, and enjoyed the benefits of being wash basin fresh. I am sure that it refelected in my work that day. I had driven into work that day, but my car fuel computer was telling me that I only had five miles worth of juice left once I had arrived. It was payday tomorrow though. Come 0000hrs and my shift ending I was faced the the issue of getting home. I hadnt been paid yet and didnt think I had enough fuel for the journey. I shared a lift home with a collegue. For dinner I had a frozen chicked curry. Back into my bedroom.
Friday 30th May 2008. PAYDAY!!!!!!!
Getting paid is one of the best feelings on earth. I had booked the day off work, as I had a rest day in the bank. My girlfriend also had the day off work. Brimming with anticipation I had woken at 1200hrs. I had arranged to meet my girlfriend later, so first things first....HAIRCUT. With £10 in my back pocket trotted down to Hairmasters (the hairdressers formerly known as Just Gents). To my shock....a que!! It can be a lottery in that place. Only Tony, Dave and Max understand the weave of my hair. After about 20 minutes of waiting and reading a magazine about fish, I was selected by one of the hair attendants. Result! It was Tony that had come good, making full use of his years of experience to complete the previous clients haircut before Mandy had finished hers. I jumped into the seat and conveyed to Tony what I Wish done to me. Tony's hairside manner is unquestionable. After 15 minutes and some anicdotes about work and my grandad I was looking sharp. I have started to go for the "v" look at the back of my head. Tony assures me that this is currently in vogue. With a new haircut, I got my dad to drop me off where I had left my car. Carefully driving to the petrol station I replenished my car with diesel. £60 to be exact. Fuel prices are crazy at the moment. I fear that the only way is up for prices. Our tax is so high on fuel, and it doesnt help that he have to import all of our oil!! I met up with my girlfriend at 1715hrs. We walked down into town. Wondering around for a while, the walk finally climaxed in Budgens where I purchased some M&M cripsy chocolates with my new found wealth. Feeling in the moods for food, we dined at Pizza Hut. I was disgusted to find that they had run out of Stuffed Crust pizza bases. I got over it. Once back from our meal, we ventured down into town. We met a few friends at my local. A few beers later and I was ready for bed. I then went to bed.
Saturday 31st May 2008.
I had a curry at work. I ate to much and felt sick.
Sunday 1st June 2008.
A new month has started. Today was also off from work, although this was a scheduled break rather than one I had arranged myself. I had recieved a text from Adam Gibson in the morning asking me to fill him in on what was going on in my life. On reading this message, I decided to reply later (as I was slightly annoyed that the message was from Adam and not from my girlfriend). I got up, showered and dressed. Heading into to the city, I decided to undertake a little bit of shopping. Chosing Zavvi other its other rivals, I bought a couple of topical books and took advantage of the 3 dvd's for £20 special offer that the store is currently running. Feeling satisfied with my bargins, I made my way back to my car. At home I settled down to watch some of the new dvd's I had purchased. One of them was a DVD box set with two films in. Smuggly I realised that I had cheated the system and in fact aquired 4 DVD's for £20. I should be on the apprentice!!!! My film on the criminal underworld in the UK was cut short as I had to take my dog for a walk. I had chilli for dinner. I breifly met up with my girlfriend and drank a can of coke. Finally getting round to texting Adam, he suggested that I should reply to one of his blogs. I feel and hope that this reply has made up for 3 months worth of neglect and that it makes you smile mate!!! I may have exahagerated certain points of the last week and under played a fair few 2!
Hope your having a great time dudes. Drop us a line if your bored. I miss both of you loads. Stay safe. Hello to Megan 2!!!!
"T" xx
