We are forecast the hottest day of the year tomorrow at 32 degrees, and it has been hot all week, but you will be glad to know that because of the heat tomorrow we will also get thunder storms and rain on Saturday! Well done I'm Annie's aunt and saw her yesterday after her fantastic adventure. Apart from her tiredness from the journey, she positively glowed as she regaled us with her tales and then described some of the apparently thousands of photos that had been uploaded! What a wonderful time for Annie and the other students. Nothing like first-hand experience to bring reality into young lives, and it appears that the impressions left are wonderful and worthwhile, especially if they all knew or felt that they had made a difference to the lives of young and old in another country, another continent, where life is so different and much harder in ways we take for granted. I felt almost jealous - wishing I'd had that kind of opportunity in my school years - but so glad that Annie and her fellow students had enjoyed such enrichment of their lives so far. Well done everybody, teachers and students alike.
Coming home Just to wish you all a safe journey home. Tell Annie I've fluffed up her pillows ready for her return and her collapse into a comfy bed. I'm sure you've all had your ups and downs and I've thoroughly enjoyed reading about them, but I would imagine the good outweighed the bad. Well done! See you at Heathrow.

Sounds better and better Great blogging. Waterfall trip sounds very entertaining. Hope Annie jumped from the top to the bottom! Nearly 2 weeks gone already - you must all be slimmer and fitter. Annie, perhaps you could organise a team to knock down our kitchen wall now that you're all hands on. Enjoy the rest of your time all of you.

At last some news from India!! I was envious before you all went. Now, reading about all the stuff you're doing, I'm REALLY envious! So glad it's all going well. Not sure who Jake is but would love a description of what it feels like to have an elephant sneeze on you. Yuk. Now you're all celebrities you won't want to come home. Keep on with the hard work - hope the food is keeping you sustained and that noone's gone down with Delhi Belly yet. Have fun!
