So its the most unusual Christmas we've had... curry and naan for lunch and the only piece of meat in sight were the cows grazing on the river bank a few meters away! Anyhoo, it was an awesome setting and definately one we're not likely to forget. Having spent 6 hours in the car while Manush, our hired driver, drove us mostly safely up north to the foot hills of the Himalayers - we were more than happy to sit outside on the banks of the Ranganga river being waited on but 3 head wobbling Indians. Boxing day brought on an "elephant safari", which is just an elephant ride. Lucky, the lonely elephant strolled into the jungles (the Indians love calling thier forrest the "Jungle"!) of Corbett Tiger Reserve. We saw a few monkeys, a deer
