Following along to the best of our abilities. We miss it when we don't get an update, and were eager to see your latest travels. Beautiful pictures of a fascinating area.
Luang Prabang Sorry to hear that you are still sick. Do you think the clothes that you soaked in bug-b-gon might be adding to it? In Peru you were only sick for one day, not 4. How is Bruce?
Luang Prabang sounds wonderful. Have fun.
Enjoying your blogs Hope you feel better soon! I'm glad you're able to share your stories with us despite the laptop problems. We all enjoy chatting about your latest adventures over dinner! Love ya!
Onward to Laos Sandy... I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed your blogs... If I do not see one I ask everyone in the office if I have missed one.. Get that darn wifi up and running.. we NEED to follow your blogs :-) Thank you they are wonderful to read...
Hope you are having fun Just having a chance now to sit with my laptop (Alex and Mitch usually have it occupied) to check out your Blog. Very nice blog. Hope you are having fun. I'm going to read the other blog posts now.
Hi Trix! Thanks for the suggestion, but I have used it in the past just fine and now I've had it technicians in both Thailand and Laos who can't fix it, so I think it's back to the manufacturer when I get home. Glad you're enjoying the blogs!
Regarding your wifi, have you made sure there isn't an external switch on your netbook, that needs to be 'flipped' in order to enable a wifi connection? When I got my laptop a few years ago, I spent forever trying to connect to the internet, only to find out it was one tiny switch on the front of it, then voila!
Anywho, very beautiful pictures. I'm so envious! I hope you guys are having a great time.
Best Wishes Hi grandma and grandpa! I hope you have a great time and wish that I could travel like you two without siblings or anything. Anyway, take lots of pictures and encounter new things every day that you can. Can't wait to see you at Christmas. Safe travels!
wonderful! Hi Sandy;
I'm really enjoying reading of your travels and travails. I never knew you were such a good writer!
Hope Bruce is feeling better so he can enjoy more with you.
best
Laurie
Get better, Dad We hope Dad starts feeling better; all your pictures show some beautiful sights and events, and I know he's been so excited he would be seeing them again. Not the craft shops, though.
Dang and Dara Mom, I sure hope you told them that our Siamese cats were named after them! I have their pedigree papers somewhere... the cats, not the ladies. I predicted Dad would have constitutional challenges and I don't mean the Bill of Rights, either. Ugh.
I have always had sand in my shoes. I got it from my father who became a merchant seamen as a young man and always loved to travel. For our 50th anniversary my husband and I are taking a trip back to Southeast Asia, where he served during the Vietnam War. We want to revisit familiar places and visit for the first time places that were off limits to us in 1965. And we want to be able to share this journey with our family and friends.... full info
