Miss you Hi Ray, Glad to hear you are now downunder. What an experience you had. The pictures are beautiful. Ray's son had their third baby a girl named Eliana, was born on Ray's birthday.
Have you looked up our friends in Brisban?? I know they will be happy to hear from you.
Sorry I missed your calls. Started back at school on Tues. evening when you called. Ray leaves for the Outer Banks on Saturday, I will be staying behind because of my classes this year. Jake is growing more and more every day. Miss you and hope we talk soon. Love, Mom

Downunda Yo Raymon, glad to hear you're alive (and kicking koala bears I hope!) Make sure you find out what a "vegamite sandwich" is for me.

Amazing... Ray, thank you for the fantastic blogs and beautiful photos. You are on the journey of a lifetime, your lifetime. So, as we all travel along our paths, be them extraordinary, or simply fulfilling, know how much you are loved and admired from distant shores. I have officially started nursing school. That much closer to following in your hallowed footsteps! Missing you, all my love xoxo

Vanuatu bound... The photos are breathtaking, Ray. I would love to join the canoe crew! Your description of the seasickness episode was classic but I am so sorry you had to go through it. You look great at the helm of the ship - maybe someday... Love you and look forward to the next blog. Aunt Debbie

Seasick Oh man how terrible that must of been - and no way to get relief anywhere. they say jumping in the water gets rid of it yep yep! Sorry kid I am still laughing about your sick adventure - can not help it - must be the excellent way you described it - " and then you threw up."

Bon Voyage Hey Ray,
Glad to hear that the sunburn has healed, you should know better! The ship looks awesome and it sounds like your traveling companions are great too! Although I do think you could get along with just about anyone! Hope you have lots of good books to read along the way! I would kill to just grab a few days with no resposibilities to catch up on some good books. Enjoy yourself and throw out a sunset toast to me! Love Ya!

The Adventure Begins All right kid, the adventures begin Wed. morning aboard the good ship Emphoria. How sweet this is going to be - happy and safe times - will be looking at your site often. Love the pictures.

Euphoric Things to do before taking off on the seas:
1) Watch Dead Calm
2) Buy a spear gun (consider taking a small pet with you just in case you need added excitement)
3) Watch The Bounty
4) Learn how to speak Tahitian (Get one of those cool tattoos now and get a leg up on the other wayfarers when you arrive...)
5) Buy extra sunscreen...
Things to remember while out there...
1) Remember which direction to pee off the boat
2) Never - Never bargain with midgets on small craft (They are better at it than you - and you might loose a finger)
3) Remember that all those funny things you see at 3am are not a figment of your imagination... (Including the mermaids)
4) Keep a vigilant watch for Icebergs - never let your gaurd down - ever - and if the captain says it isn't the season for icebergs - then keep a watch anyway.....
Wish I was going wit ya!!
Maybe we will sail Cool Change down there and hook up!
Cheers Mate!!!!!! And best of travels - write soon and often.
