Love you, Di
great pictures, wonderful commentary!!!! so it sounds like you are planning to go back again next year. you may have a group going with you... you make it sound so inviting!!! I talked with john yesterday. he sounds good and found out he may continue to have some effects from the infusion for up to 71 days. don't know how the experts came up with 71 days. anyway, they both sound good. Karen said yesterday was the first time she has felt joy in the moment for a long time. We continue to pray for much more time for him. All is well with us. Kara and her computer mother keep progressing.we are ready for spring!!!

Grand Cañon of Somoto Kathy, Terry, I know you have to be having a great time. Grand Cañon of Somoto sounds like it is a beautiful place. I’m so glad for that you both are getting this opportunity to experience adventure travel. I still treasure my adventure travel experiences of years ago.
I’m scheduled for my first surgical post-infusion MCI in mid March, but I have total trust in Jesus that we will be seeing positive results. I’m gaining my strength and recovering daily.
Enjoy your adventure!!!

Darn Broncos Don't know if you're getting football updates, but the Broncos lost to the Steelers 34-17. It was an ugly game with lots of mistakes. Aren't you glad to be there instead of Colorado where lots of folks are kinda depressed?
Take care and have fun!
Love,
Linn

meeting so you can tell me about it. Have fun.

the ocarina man Hi. I was randomly searching sights on San Juan Del Sur before an upcoming trip. The man in your photo playing his ocarina at the Iguanas Bar is a good friend. It was wild to find his picture!
Hello you two,
We just returned from Duke. John did exceptionally well. His brain surgery did show more cancer but a lot of the concerns shown on his December MRI was radiation debris. He had the trial infusion for three days deliverd directly to his brain and was discharged Sat. the 14th. Took a lot of courage and faith. It was quite grueling and painful, especially with the craniotomy and then the infusion, but he made it. Now it is wait and see, lots of follow up at Duke. What he heard form the research team over and over is that he was an ideal candidate for the trial. We will continue to pray hard!!! For Karen too!!! She was a trooper during it all.
Enjoy the warmth. LOTS of snow again
love, alice
