Meet and Greet Shalom travelers! Friday January 28th the team will meet at the Wells home to get to know one another and to pray for the trip. This will be just three weeks from departure. Last minute notes will be given and a Shabbat meal served. Shabbat is a time of rest before the L-rd commonly called sabbath. All but one team member will be able to attend this meet and greet. The one missing will join on live chat via computer.
I will try to remember to translate any Hebrew words I use so that everyone will know what I am referring to. For reference, "Shalom Alechem" is a customary greeting. It means "Peace be upon you." The traditional response is "Alechem Shalom."
