I stumbled upon your blog by accident, but I really enjoyed it! I LOVE that you're going hang gliding for your 25th anniversary! That's such a perfect example of really enjoying life! My blog is looking for travel photos, tips, etc, to share. If you have the time, check it out at dirty-hippies.blogspot.com, or email us at dirtyhippiesblog@gmail.com. Continued fun on your travels!

Plentiful Pickleball This may be too late, as i know folks are leaving the area. Desert Pools and Catalina Spa in Desert Hot Springs have good pickleball. Thousand Trails in Palm Springs is where we played most of our ball. Also, the senior center at College of the Desert in Palm Springs has pickleball every week day! (And some of the players are college kids) If not now, hope we run into each other next winter.
courts where? I am in La Quinta Ca and don't know where the "plentiful" pickleball courts are located. I haven't seen any. Can you give me some places or contacts? Thanks.
Stinky Weather It looked like the whole country had stinky weather the past winter...except Palm Springs. We lucked out! Enjoy your garden this summer.
Thank You Sure enjoyed hearing about your Palm Desert stay. Glad to know that you're both healthy enough to do all that touring and also get together w/friends. Liked the energy info--we always see those turbines when we drive through CA.
Maybe we'll see you the next time you head back down to TX. All our TT parks, including Colorado River (where Marty/Asst. Mgr here, is now) & Tawakoni, are open year around. We'll be heading toward the NW for the summer, in about a month or so. Looking forward to it, since that's an area we haven't visited.
Lovin' Florida Glad you are enjoying Florida. Tom heard too many complaints about serving side-arm. So he gave it up. I played in a league (one time) and they asked me back. Maybe next winter. Give Linda a hug for me. Safe travels
love'n it in Florida WHAT HAPPENED THAT TOM ISN'T PLAYING PICKLE BALL?????
I'VE BEEN PLAYING UP THROUGH THIS MORNING, I DEVELOPED A CHARLIE HORSE IN MY LEFT CALF THIS MORNING IN A MIDDLE OF MY 4TH GAME. HOPEFULLY IT WILL LOSEN UP IN A DAY OR TWO.
Wow! You two are quite the hikers. Glad you're getting to see and explore our beautiful West. I liked the moon over the water. Thanks for your travelogue.
You Rock! No pun intended (but you know me) I just had to say that. Thank you for sharing your travels with us. You have really covered some beautiful territory since you were here June 11th. I am happy that you were able to put some miles under your MH this year. But wait, you have visited so many sites this summer what remains for us to see with you when we are with you next May, June, July and August? When will the next blog be published? I can hardly wait to find out where Tom's secret boyhood yearning is. Safe journey. We love you both. Give Princess a hug from Baxter. Love, Dave and Sue
Winding Down Winding down is just what we are doing too! Headed to AZ. We painted the pickleball court at Batesville with help from friend Kathy. Have a great winter.
Cycling thru' Glacier Hi Reiny: Glacier Park on a bike! Tom remembers your stories of your trip. He still can't get me on a bike. The motorcoach is scarry enough for me on these roads! Missing ya'll and the Carolinas! Karen
Hello from Washington It has been a while since we've had contact. Last time was when you were off to Boston for the summer. We have kept up on your blog though and see you are in a beautiful part of the country! Glad to see you are both well and traveling. We are just finished with our 2nd year of workcamping and will be in Washington; Seattle area for a while. Keep traveling and stay safe... happy trails.. Cyndy and Earl Munday
Great Vacation The pictures are beautiful and the wildlife is something else. One day we will be heading west and see some of those sights. We are winding down for the summer, currently at TT Indian Lakes in Batesville, In and will start heading back to Texas for the winter in a week or two.
That was great news about your dog Princess. Hope to see you again during your travels.
Take care and God Bless.
Wish we were there! Looks gorgeous, someday we are going to kindof caravan with you. Fantastic photos. Where is winter this year? We are probably heading to Fla. this year.

We became full-time RV'ers when I retired March 1, 2006. We started on the East coast of the U.S. and arrived on the West coast in 2009. We are traveling the U.S. to sights we've never seen before! Adventure-bound to National Parks. and beaches with stop-offs to visit friends and family. ... full info

Trophies
I'll admit the guys may deserve trophies, as long as they aren't looking for "trophy wives" :-)
