Miranda, thanks for all the facts - I'm sure you've told me lots of times, but you know what my short-term memory is like - just like that dude in that great movie, with the title I can't remember..
ANyway, glad you're working on a high-exposure project with experts involved, future interest etc. Makes it all so worhtwhile to be doing something potentially very valuable. Lucky you. I'll try not to continue to be deterrred by the emphasis on diarrhea (although I'm glad to hear the rehydration salts are oral) and I hope you personally don't ahve any recurrence - take care of yourslef - stay hydrated - ahve I told you that before?? all my love, Mom
Happy Birthday! Not sure what the time difference is, but it's not yet the 12th here so I must have the right day. Want to wish you a happy birthday, and we're all pleased to hear you're settling in. Although if you have no internet access yet, how are you still blogging?
Happy Birthday! Glad to hear you are having so much fun! I hope the project continues to go well. AAH isn't the same without you this summer.
Have a fabulous birthday!

I got up and watched the Tour - got nostalgic seeing that lovely English countryside - but didn't see you in the huge crowds, of course. :) The result was an unbelievable show of Oz determination!
You're on your way to Bangladesh as I write - hope the journey is fine - and the backpack not too unwieldy. Take care of yourself - and enjoy everything! Love, Mom
green with envy Hey Miranda--I love living vicariously through you, although I do admit to a wee bit of jealousy!!!!!
Dont let the cheese and ale kill you before you get to Bangladesh!
Hey Short Stuff Maybe this is why Alex always made us watch those rowing videos of the dutch... tall women.
Anyway, careful on the drinking and biking. I know someone who broke their arm falling off a yellow bike after a power hour...
Hi there Glad to see you're having a productive and educational trip! :) Despite its name, I remember Brains Ale as being quite good. Well, sweetheart, you're certainly visiting a lot of places I haven't been: Cardiff, BanglaDesh... Have lots of fun - if not too many pints. Love, Mom
miss you! you missed a bulldog x-ray adventure this afternoon! we had to do 5 bulldogs for some trachea study and the big stud of the group kept farting!! I couldn't stop laughing and wanted nothing more than for you to be there :)
Always an adventure!! Hey Miranda! Glad to hear all is going well and that you survived the wrong side of the road! Scary! Can't wait to hear about Kenya!!!
Jealousy Miranda! I am "wicked" (super) jealous! Sounds like you are having a blast. I have become a master of the 50lb. bag, a few airport attendants have even congragulated me on my 49.99lb. bag. Hope you are having the time of your life out there- don't visit to many sex shops. x K
Hired Cars Now Miranda, which was worse, driving on the wrong side in a tiny car in the UK or driving in Miami Beach trying to find somewhere to park a 15 passenger van?
Very Exciting! I had a mini panic attack and thought I'd somehow missed being signed up for your blog! Then I noticed you hadn't posted anything. Phew... I'm still hoping you'll be able to visit us in Cardiff next week and I'll be waiting intently for your Bangladesh updates in Kenya! ... If a black rhino and a big old fruit bat got in fight, who do you think would win?
kelly Hi Miranda!!
Nice to keep up with what you're up to! It was great on BCI! I just came back from Sweden and will go hitchhiking somewhere in Europe in 2 weeks. As it is a match we will hear where to go just before we leave so I don't have a clue where we are going... Hopefully Italy!!
Have fun in Bangladesh!!
x
I am a veterinary and public health student at Tufts University. This summer I will be traveling to Bangladesh to work on a Nipah virus project. Before that I will be spending sometime in Great Britain and Europe. Check back here to see where I am!
