Rainbow Tribe Hola Donato, What a grand Irish memory. I share your aversion to left side driving and to the speedy drivers who nose the rear bumpers of nervous newcomers like us. Next time I'll walk and take the bus! Peatyo
Hi old friend Hey man! Great to hear from you again, its been a while. I can imagine you had some trouble driving on the "wrong" side, i could never do that either... Ireland's beautiful, at least it seems like it. Have never been there, but my parents and friends says i have to go there for some sightseeing. Good beer right? Anyway, i hope you and your wife are great and that you had a good time. Im fine, am actually going to London in two weeks to meet my brother. He's got a job there now so now i have another reason to go there. Have talked to Edward and Rachel, so im going to meet up with up them there.
All the best, and i hope to hear from you again. Whats happening with your round the world- trip by the way?
Your friend Fred
beautiful pictures Hi Don,
What a wonderful trip. Glad to hear you mastered driving in Ireland. I{m in Dolores Hidalgo this afternoon. Miss you guys...Peggy
Cool Shades Ostia Antica is always empty of tourists because the ghosts eat the undesirables. The school mates and dinners look marvelous. You rock, Schlief.
Whoa-hoa Cool shakes and conviviality. Ostia Antica never seems to have visitors. I've been there 3x in 3 different decades and never any other visitors. The ghosts swallow them up.
thanks for sharing a great experience Don,
I'm excited about your trip and great pictures that show why you are so enthusiatic about learning Italian. I'm looking forward to doing the same thing in Mexico for October and part of November. I'll study in Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende. Thanks for the tip about the best place to go.

Ah, what a great group! Sean, Judith and I hare having spa wraps today. They off to the Mexico City Canadian Embassy happy hour. Wish we had tickets to Rome for the weekend!
Aging like a good wine! Don,
Glad to see you're still enjoying your travel life!!
Nice to know that folks can still age without getting Old.Stay well.

hungry I shouldn't have read your blog at the end of the workday when I'm hungry. Talk about jealousy.
Trastevere is where we stayed when we visited Rome, so it's neat to think of you there as well. Glad you're having fun!
Cooks on grill and carries big stick I'm not sure which photo the mighty Don is in. Could he be muffled in mufti in the Oman cooktent? Is he walking behind the tipi-style bean and corn plantings in front of the capitol building? Maybe he's hiding in one of the big metal grills waiting to be lit!
Looking forward to your next travelblog!
Ye-hah, Awake in Lutece! I was there behind you in the line at the supermarche. Snuck a glance as you bought the metro ticket, cribbing for whenever I venture to Paris next. Onward to browse the marchands des livres along the Seine!
