But other than that (and the traffic, and the abundance of Siamesey cats you can't pet because of Hepatitis and Rabies and stuff), this city has been far less trying than we thought it would be. I've actually, mostly, enjoyed our time here. The Thais are just great - friendly when approached, but they don't tend to go out of their way to approach you, or stare when you walk past in funny clothes and strange hair. This is a tremenoud relief, as anyone whose ever travelled to Egypt or India will understand.
