Mary -Answer If you would send me a message instead of comment it will work better so I can respond directly to you. But really I think it's possible, especially if you daughter knows a little. But if you have the bucks maybe a guide would help to make it much less a hassel. Enjoy!! I highly suggest Jeonju, it was my fav.
Free Travel Help? Hi, I'm meeting by daughter in Seoul to tour for 10 days and an having a hard time trying to deciede if we should do it on our own or pay the big bucks for an English guide. She will have some language down by time I get there because of her studies. Any thoughts for me?

I am so proud of seeing jeonju here How have you been? You are probably somewhere in Asia roaming about the world...I am working in beijing, China now and I really envy your travelling without any of stress from work...I hope you have a safe travel and be careful of your health at anywhere...
That still don't make it right Okay so you think that these girls (very young girls) that see the only way to make ends meat, by selling themselves to old westerners, really respect and love you. They see the proimise land where they dont have to worry about hunger and clothing anymore, where they can help support there familys. And maybe they can even be content in that kind of relationship. BUT what I'm really talking about is the girls that are paid nightly, pimped out by there brothers and boyfriends. Ya it's Asia but they are still humans and treated like little sex toys for these men, some married, on there little "diving trip." But tell yourself what you like to make yourself feel better, I don't kniow your exact situation, hor do I really care but I had to respond.
hey Chikita! Hi meg, Looks like you are having a blast. I am so jealous! You know sitting here in wct at work just does not cut it. I am saving for a holiday to Africa next year. Hoping to go for 3 months, 1 month in africa and then 2 months accross asia on the Vodka train. When are you home? We will have to hook up this summer. All the best!! RM.
hi been reading your blogs. great adventure and terrific writing. Its good that you are enjoying the Philippines as much as us Filipinos do. looking forward to some more adventures...
Hello Hi Megan,
It's your second cousin Pam. Wow, looks like your having quite the adventure. Looks so beautiful there. Enjoy yourself, take care of yourself.
Love Pam
welcome to asia. I hear this rant a lot, especially from American women who are used to being over valued. This is Asia! It's OK to be old, and ugly. In Asia they have this crazy idea that even old people who are not attractive should get respect! I know its hard to imagine from the American TV culture you believe in where only attractive and rich people deserve to get a pretty girlfriend.

It was an overall good experience:) Yes I do realize there is a different culture here, it's just they way it is and you accept it. Just a little different, but that's what I travel for, to see the diversity. And don't worry Lee there'll be plenty of pics on the way.
And Tessa I miss you too. Cant wait till the next time we're together:)
I will be a good reader of your travel blog travelling alone around the country is not easy at all. well, If you make a trip to Korea with some conpanion, It would be a much better expierence. By the way, I am a bit shameful as a Korean as you feel that Korean are relatively rude in public. However, Korea has an unique culture that western people don't know well about. I am sure that you also realize that. I hope you enjoy your next destination, Philippines. I will be with you in this blog while you are travelling around south-east asia. I am also very excited when I picture that you are in tropical area with facinated people. Take more photos and Show us.
This is for my friends and family because I can not write you all about everything all the time. It is also for me as a journal I will always have and for fellow travelers looking for a little info. I'm no pro writer but I hope you all enjoy!! Megs... full info
