This week the men came to repair our concrete water tank. It is about four years old but developed cracks quite soon after it was first filled. Very little water leaked out but it seeped out along the cracks. So we got the suppliers to come out and do some repairs. It involved emptying the tank (good-bye to our precious stored water!!). Then the two men climbed inside and sealed the cracks - we hope they succeeded. After 48 hours we had to clean out the tank ready for the expected rain. (fingers crossed that we get some before the summer.) The tank and the spouting were VERY dirty - thanks to the birds and pollen from the pine forests. (We do have two more tanks (plastic), each of 25000 litres so should not go thirsty.
