Hi Marielle
I have taken note of how authentic your Deansfield costume was last year however I can't remember your bum looking that big!!!
Lovely to hear all your news. Take care!

Happy New Year Can't quite match your stunning celebrations and unfortunately there were numerous sprouts on the table here, but had a great time anyway. Hope you have a fantastic last few weeks. Love Marie
Love the penquin pics! Marielle, I found your blog!! It sounds a fantastic experience and your photos are great...keep them coming. My husband will get some good tips for his 6 month travels next year! Take care, I look forward to reading the next one, Happy Christmas love Gwen
I love the 80s music you sound like you are having a ball, keep well and Harry's read some of your journeal he thinks its great! have a great christmas and a happy new year!
Torres de fantastique! Hi Maz and Fi! Seeing your photos reminded me of my trip to Patagonia which was amazing. I went a different time of year so it was really really cold but I found it breathtaking and forgot about the temperature. No other people really around in the park either which was fab!
Anyway, wishing you both a fantastic Christmas and New Year. I think Fi is heading to South Africa.
Take care - Nikki
Smiling away.. ...as I read this...surely you would have learnt about getting an iternary from our inter-railing days?!? Looks like you still having lots of fun. Great photos!!
Loved the turtle!!! Trip sounds truly amazing!
Your prediction of our weather was spot on - already started singing the old favourite Rain, Rain go away with the children!
Can't believe the amount of beautiful views over there. I'm really enjoying reading your blog - you could be the next Bill Bryson - you have a real talent for travel writing! Hope you enjoy your next leg of the journey xx
I'm not jealous at all ?! Well, I really can't see why you call it paradise?!! Never a good liar was I! It looks awesome and I am so jealous. You seem to be having so much fun from the photos and I wish I could be there with you too. What an experience!! Hope you had good Birthdays too and very belated greetings. As Jacqs says look after yourselves and we will do the same when we get to Cambodia next week. Check out Cutler's blog for details! Take care, Niksxxx
Paradise indeed lucky ladies! Wish I'd had the mind to travel and join you (not working at the mo) for some dune fun.. looks spectacular and so relaxed. Winter here is looking far more dull and grey after seeing these turquoise waters... but where are your pictures of hunky Brazilian bods? Enjoy Salvador which looks beautiful.
WOW, WOW!! It looks amazing - am wondering who did all the driving?? (and at least you survived!), did Fi start talking to herself underwater, then fall about laughing when she realised she couldn't talk?!? Now, girls, please take care at your next destination. Miss you heaps, Love Jacxxx
Spider picture gave me the hebe jebees Been given your travel blog by Sian and have just spent the last few days!! reading through it. It all sounds absolutely amazing and the pictures are stunning. I never realised how beautiful the scenery in Ecuador is although I had some clue as to the poverty endured. I'm sure all those children will remember your time and encouragement despite the lack of resources. Puts us to shame in this country!! Looking forward to hearing about your next adventure. Best wishes - keep safe - Marie xx
Wow! Félicitations à notre fille 'exploratrice'. Another superb journal entry, you describe your adventures so vividly; it's great to share them with you. Bisous!
hi guys hi both , the journey sounded great although looked longer than planned. Those tales of creepy crawlies are putting nos off the jungle a bit. Hope it smelt good. Have fun on the beaches. joe and nos
so envious! Hi Marielle, just caught up on all your journals and it sounds fantastic. You won't wanna come back! keep up the good work, if there is anything I can send to help you or the kids just say the word. Have fun xxxxxSam
Hallooo Hey lady
Loving your work! Glad that you are having such a fantastic time, everything sounds amazing and it's ace to be able to keep track of what you're up to (have you considered a future career in travel writing?!).
Hope you had a very happy birthday and that you, Meg and Fi have adventures aplenty over the next few weeks - will look forward to hearing the unedited versions in due course...
lots of love, Bodxxxx
Nothing Ventured Nothing Gained Always lovely to hear what you're up to Marielle. I'm trying to think of some ways we can introduce some mountains into the London landscape and the odd hummingbird or two ready for your return!!
Cotopaxi is not like Yorkshire? Consumed with jealousy reading your screed and seeing the photos. Cotopaxi looks a challenge! Steve will tell you how we got into limbo descending the Old Man of Coniston the vertical way! We'd be in big big trouble on C...xi
Another way of looking at it!!! Does sound shitty for them but maybe in a weird way they're lucky to be so easily pleased. Remember you might not be there long enough to effect any change but don't forget you'll be touching those little ones lives anyway. It's great hearing what you're up to Marielle. What am I up to? - trying to effect some change on systems funnily enough!!!Take care Marielle!
Very proud of you... Glad you now belief us about your snoring!?! Although I have to admit I have never heard you - no one can be as bad of Fi so when she arrives you will have competition! Dont give up you, you are doing a great job!! Your photos are superb too!
you're doing a brilliant job don't get too disheartened.. am sure the kids need and enjoy your enthusiasm and tenacity as a teacher.. its gotta be better that just cake and cleaning! The climbing is getting very impressive my dear, take care...
