great pics, Mandybee......... Nice to know that you are having such a grand time, meeting nice people.I love the pics. Keep them coming.
I'm going to re read your latest and soak it in! Hope the cold has gone!!
We went to a fantastic dinner with very good food, and equally good live instrumental and vocal entertainment on Sat to raise money for the orphans of parts of war torn Africa.

If it's Tuesday ... You sure are seeing lots, Mandy. I relate to the comment about being over-touristed. Sometimes it's good to stay put for a while and absorb. There's a famous saying about 'Knopwing everything' about a place when you've visited it for up to 3 days - and realising you know a place quite well when you've lived in it for 3 years -- and in between having all your certainties lose their clarity.
At times it sounds a though it might be quite hard work. I hope you're coping well in the main. I'm sure you'll have lots to look back on and remember when you finally get home and stop for a while.
Caro Mandy, thank you for a great weekend. Glad you had a good time, despite weather and colds. Maybe we should have had that caffe coretto, eh?
Hope the Mainland brings more interesting stories.. looking forward to hearing about your travels.
Ciao bella,
Mary

I'm enjoying your photos - very good. And the spelling of names based on Maori words is definitely getting better. Not perfect, but definitely better. Well done.

Hi Mandy. We're missing you already. It's great seeing family, especially ones from the other side of the world who we don't see often enough. If you get any more tired trecking around, come back for a rest before heading away from NZ. :-)
Hello folks, I'm heading off travelling on a RTW ticket for 10 weeks, leaving on Monday 25th February. I'm looking forward to going to: Malaysia, Sydney, New Zealand and San Francisco.
