Woo-hoo !!
Thanks again for the text photo. I walked out of cheer practice and opened it. I noticed that Donna is not wearing a sleeveless top a sign of lower temps. Great shot of the two of you under the Montana state sign.

Rount Mushmore
Thank you for sending the text message. I received it within minutes of it being sent and got a little emotional thinking of you being at that location. Does it feel a little like a foreign country with the different landscape and vistas ? I think the face of the mount was carved to remind all Americans so far away from the east, where our nation's early history occurred, why we are one huge nation.

Very Cool!
These are really something to see. Your comments on the drop from the badlands as well as the rattlesnakes painted very graphic pictures in my mind!! We are looking forward to more!

Continental breakfast
was coined by the British and refers to the European continent. The hotels there traditionally make available a light breakfast of coffee and cereal and bread to all guests as part of the cost... how is that for an "educational tip"? manco4 would be crazy right now if this conversation were live and he was tuck in the car with us.

Steinauer tour
Wow ! You really did it !! I am sorry you did not get to see inside the Convent House. You should've stopped at the Bank of Steinauer and asked for the key. They also would've told you where the key is hidden for the Fire House, then you could have really extended your tour with a look at all of the old photos on displa including a few of my father. miss you guys and looking forward to our "My Summer Vacation" slideshow night.

KC is a cow town
I am sorry you had poor service and staff attitude, but KC has been spoiled over the years by the "stockyard mentality" monopoly. You know, the only game in town for farmers who bring in their cattle.
