I ventured just up the road to the Chatuchuk weekend market yesterday. It's billed as one of the biggest indoor markets in the world, they're not kidding either. It was huuuuuge and a delightful surprise too. The first few hundred stalls you come to are more like mini boutiques. It felt like walking down Ashton Lane in Glasgow but a tiny shop version. It was mostly clothes but these looked like local labels, high fashion, silks and linens all beautifully made. The stalls were more like mini shops and many had had the Lawrence Llewelyn Bowen treatment, wallpapers to die for, glass and steel accessories and black chandeliers to boot.
