After three days in Lima, I can honestly report that I am very pleased with the Cross Cultural Solutions Program thus far--except for one thing: They lied to me in the information packet. I was told that the weather here would be cold and damp and because there is no central heating in the house that we are staying in we should plan accordingly and bring plenty of warm clothes and layers. And, being particulalry skilled at dressing for cold weather, I jam-packed my luggage with such items as flannel pajama pants, warm socks, a fleece, hoodie, gloves, two travel blankets, and even a wool hat.
