Catherine you look very stunning in that red dress and Patrick looks very relaxed and at home in Bollywood ;-) well done guys. Now i can say to my friends back home in Bombay that i am friends with that lovely girl in Red from that movie Partner. Can't wait to see the movie.

Laos is brill We loved Laos. Our top SE Asian country. Now its just a photo on our wall now. Bugger.
We were more scared of the troops on the mountain road to Luang Prabang than the risk of bandits, young kids with rocket launchers!
Back2Work Ahhh Lake Baikal seems years away. Keep on travelling! Dont come back. We are working again and its rubbish. Dont let anyone tell you a career is a good idea.
We liked Vietnam, especially the North, sorry you had a bad time. We had some hassle but no worse than the rest of Asia.
Dune Sliding!!! That looks awesome! I want to have a go at that now... >.<
Catherine, what have you been feeding Patrick, he's put on some weight!!! Hehe...
Are smashed frogs just very drunk? The roads in Cambodia sound like the roads in Brighton except for the floods, lack to tarmac and big holes.
After many months it looks like you almost have a tan!
Pat must be boyed up by the Baggies good start to the season.
OOOooooooooooooooooh This all sounds so so amazing!! For some reason I don't get emails any more telling me there is an update and I had really started to miss your fabulous updates so I just checked in anyway.. and found a Japan and Thailand update waiting for me... lucky me!! Not quite as great as being there I admit, but you paint the pictures so well, keep it up! ENJOY the relaxation in Thailand... no doubt you need it by now! Am off to Dublin tomorrow and will be sure to say a big hello to all the knackers and will tell Dublin Bus/iarnrod Eireann you miss them so. Would you like me to send you pictures of the DART?
don't come back i'm so jealous i'm not sure that you should come back! i may not be able to speak to you ever again! i can't believe you met a Geisha....!
Tuk Tuk's eh @ HA ! Well, at least when you get back to Brighton you may be able to re-live a little of your trip as 12 of these ere Tuk Tuks now operate on the seafront & from the station to the marina ! £2.50 flat fare & causing quite a stir running on completely green gas ! Bungalow on the beach looks like paradise - enjoy ! (Thought you'd gone quiet for a bit)...
Chinese History Good- News. Politicians getting the airtime they deserve. We got a 3 hour speech on Taiwan relations by Hu Jintao live on all the channels. I was riveted.
Bad- Chinese rewriting of history. Mongolia's part of china a few people told us. Their Logic? Mongols invade China and set up the Yuan dynasty out of Beijing 800 years ago. Therefore they are a Chinese minority really. Come join the motherland right now! So that makes all English people French right? Well the Queens German.
Bad- Tour groups being led around by flag. I wanted to nick one and walk over a cliff and see if they still followed me.
Memories... ...it's all flooding back...*sobs*... I hate you two... >.< ... hehe. Nah, good that you enjoyed your time in Hong Kong, I miss not going back there this year (moans about the house, etc etc). I got a picture of The Golden Bauhinia too when I was back three years ago, they had a laser show there, it was quite impressive. You know those stairs going up to the Big Budha, I stupidly ran up it once, nearly killed me!!!
It is great following your blog and we are extremely jealous of your continual travels. We have been back in the dull old UK for a few weeks and still coming to terms with the end of our travels. Liked your summary of the good and bad parts of China. Totally agree with the split pants and spitting. They are by far the worst! Keep the stories and photos coming and have fun.
Hong Kong Fuey Am loving the picture of Patrick cooling down, is that actually a full sized beach towel on his head?
Good china: The novelty of using chopsticks
Bad china: No forks! oh and the slave labour and killing of 100,000's of their own people
Sounds like you guys are having a great time but it must be killing you not being able to do all that great shopping Catherine!
Just a quick one Howya guys, absolutely blown away reading your adventures, sounds like you're having a blast (very impressed / jealous). Just a quick one to say hi, and hope you're holding up well. Catherine, thanks for the b-day mail, will reply properly shortly. Apologies for lack of contact, will explain in longer mail! Take care over there, and see yiz soon.
Cheers, Alan
LOL Ha! This was the funniest blog to date. My favourite funny things in this blog: Pat with long hair; Israel and the bouncy floor; good old Chinese propaganda; a dam good story, ha; and Catherine looking distinctly oriental whilst holding a baby that is like totally not hers, yeah right.
