Cuidense!
Back in London Acabamos de llegar de nuestro maravilloso viaje a SA y nos hemos deleitado con las descripciones de su viaje. No era facil conseguir e mail en SA y if available, it was very expensive so we have only just now read in detail all the comments (Roberto has just suggested that I send these commenst in English so.. change of chip!). It seems that you have had a great journey and this idea of the Blog is "cool" (now that I am sending comments to a blog I have to use "cool" language.
Your dad thinks that we should now write a blog of our journey, including al the pictures. let's see. I told him he can write it and I will correct it!!.
Well my dearests i hope you keep enjoying south america and please keep writing. Love Cristina and Roberto
Hello Vic and Marce
Great to read your blogs - keep 'em coming! This last one really brightened up my lunch-hour, really had to suppress my laughter! Especially that last paragraph (pobre Marcelita...). BTW, Vic, talking of Andalucias and Spanish-sounding locations, me and Matt are going to Valencia for a week in July (mum said it came highly recommended by you...?). Very excited. Even more excited about having my sis and my bro and co. back in Blighty! Even Matt misses you lot! Loads of love, MP x
¿viste?
Sounds kinda dry oop north ! Very interesting stuff sir, but just as i was trying really hard to resolve the mystery behind those unanswered questions mentioned in your previous blog, you've gone and thrown in another, and even more puzzling enigma ... I mean did you seriously see giant figures with big willies in the desert? How hilarious !! Are you sure it wasn't some form of mirage or something else like a shadow, large flamingoes, or maybe just a bit of sand in your eye? I mean I don't want to sound patronising or cause any paranoia, but I just want to make sure that you're actually alright out there, i mean you haven't even reached the jungle yet, so good luck !!
Sitting preferrence:
It's easier to get off. In the window seat, when you need to get off the bus, you'll have to bother the person sitting on the aisle seat. Just a thought.
Chilito lindo Nice to know what you guys are up to at last! I'm looking forward to all your blog entries - hopefully you'll also put some photos up soon. I loved the 'marker pen journey' comment, Chilean humour, eh?! Take care, and write more soon. Liza xxx
Two chilean brits do Chile to Venezuela overland, checking out people, politics, and paisajes. We want to do it asking people what they think about life here, while also enjoying the sights and sounds that Peru, Bolivia, Brazil and Venezuela have to offer. Hopefully we, but more importantly the ipod, will survive...... full info
