I forgot to mention for yesterday - we saw this fantastic set of huge jugs - Lance would have liked them :-) Anyway, first stop today - a Canal cruise. There are dozens of long, wide, flat bottomed open-air canal 'buses' that ply the waters that run through the city. Each one probably seats nearly 200 people and are designed to be as big as physically possible and still squeeze under the old bridges that criss-cross the canals. The guided tour took us along the old canals, and out into the harbour. From the harbour we saw half a dozen tall-ships, a few naval vessels including an old submarine on the dock, lots of ugly 'modern' danish architectural monstrosities, nearly as many architecture schools, and the Little Mermaid statue, sitting forlornly on a rock near shore.
