I'm an independent traveller. However, i've only previously applied this to Europe, and Canada. Everywhere else that i've been has been at the behest of someone else. I'm aiming to spend a month in Aus/NZ next March and don't have a scoobydoo about Aus, how much money i'll need....etc,etc, except how to get there. So, i need to know more info, and here seems the best place to do just that.
