I'm so jaleaous! Hello dear!
I'm so jaleous! It's been quite cold here in Paris! But it's getting warmer and soon winter will be over! You're so lucky you got the chance to go to the Australian Open... and to do a bit of sightseeing around Melbourne...I am still hoping to get back to Melbourne sometimes later this summer (european summer!)
Take care and enjoy Croatia! See you soon in Europe!

Hanging Rock? Hey Jodi - When I first read the title of your email I thought, "Jodi's back in NC?" Since we have a Hanging Rock here too. I'm glad to see you're having a good time down under. Good luck in Croatia.
Take Care,
Cliff
school i thought you went down there to go to school ,you take more holidays than me and you know i like to take of ,,enjoy while you can,,,have some fun for all of us jh
insert funny title here I haven't left you a comment so I figured I should one of these days. Do you remember the scene from the movie My Fair Lady when they go to the races? That's what your pictures remind me of. Glad to see your doing good Eliza hahaha
Us Australian's are not that weird-Really! Ok, so all you guys following Jodi's travel's seem to have an interesting take on life here in Australia. Kennedy- Cricket is a sport of great talent, full of history- even if it does look like a bunch o funny guys running around in white suits, drinking alot of tea and scratching and adjusting themselves profusly! Belive it or not most of us do work but live by the motto of work hard, play hard- so we also have alot of fun :) Maybe you guys should come visit and see 4 yourselves- and try some vegemite and beetroot (but not together!).
Happy Birthday I've been meaning to write your hotmail and wish you a now, belated Happy Birthday... I promise to email you with pics of your fav neice and our newest memeber... "Goldie". Sounds like your having a ball :)
Love reading the Blog Jodi, looks like you are having an amazing time. I love grits but I guess that comes with growing up in the South. Glad you are enjoying yourself. I would love to visit!! Lisa
Grufty and Grits I can't blame Darren for not likeing grits. Yuck! Grufty looks like he's fun. It seems Aussies only know how to have fun. Doesn't anyone there work or have a job?
Ironically I was in England when the Cricket thing was going on. I tried to watch it, but had NO IDEA what was going on. And on the flight to Edinburgh...the stewardesses kept updating the people on the plane via the intercom. The day I left, London was preparing for a HUGE parade for the "return of the ashes". Maybe one day you can explain it to me!
Down Under, Over I thought you pictures were great the one of you turned out well, despite the short arms. And you're rigth the one of sea and the sky is great. I think that's my fave. Very funny stuff about your observations. The dangerous animal one is the best, seems typical too. Enjoy you last week off, and good luck next semester. Man this long.
So true! Your post about Australian attitudes is so true! I was sitting here laughing when you talk about beetroot, sweet chili sauce and pineapple. All you need is to find a hamburger (or veggieburger) served Aussie style (egg and beetroot) . I'm glad things are going well... and just remember Sydney is only 10 hours away if you're sick of 'slumming it' (just kidding)
