Hello from Boston Hi,
I've been following your blog for about a month now and am enjoying it a lot. You are living my dream of living in China. I can't wait to do it some day. I am single with no children and find it difficult. So I commend you for having such courage. I'm going to be visiting Shanghai in April and am excited to see the things you have talked about.
Thanks for sharing your experience!

Labour Thanks Emma it's nice to know someone is lauging along with me. Not sure whether I can come up with a gag bad enough to induce labour .... but if I ever did I would put it on my resume! Hope you are keeping well and taking advantage of the relative calm.

National Teacher's Day Hey - sounds like you are all having a fantastic time! I am liking the idea of the National Teacher's Day - do you think it will go down well in Frithville? May have to give it and go and let you know!
the 80s hairstylists I have to say, that we had almost the same experience this evening (in our 'hood in Shanghai) getting Nathan a haircut. I did all the right gesturing for just a little and no razor and just scissors, and the guy even spoke English, but Nathan got more than a trim....what's the sign for "not like yours?"
where's the picture?? It's not there and we are eager to see the after-cut picture...We saw you today with product and thank goodness all looked great!
Hi, good to hear from you, I have heard lots about you! Glad you are enjoying the blog, Suzanne is a great friend already, think we both find some sanity (and madness!) in each other!
from Santa Barbara, California Hi, I am Suzanne's father. She shared the location of your blog. I am enjoying reading about your adventure. I am so glad you and Suzanne have connected. Plus, it is great fun to read your view of Shanghai!
