Laos has to be my favourite country in South-East Asia. The laid-back attitude of the local people is unrivalled and very refreshing when coming from Thailand or Vietnam!
Almost every stop has something to offer; Luang Namtha with its tiny villages, Luang Prabang for the amazing cuisine, Vang Vieng's stunning karst mountain scenery and Phonsovan with its enigmatic Plain of Jars and haunting history of America's secret war.
