Greetings All from Laos! Since my last blog we have travelled to northern Thailand with a 5 night stop in the lovely small city called Chiang Mai. We left Bangkok last Tuesday week the 12/07/2011 (two days later than orinigally planned) we decided to have two more nights in a luxury hotel called the Baioyke Sky which is the tallest in Bangkok (84 floors)!! Hey All! Well since my last entry we certainly have seen and done a LOT! We also got to have the experience of getting a 20minute journey on a 'long tail' boat down the river to the market which was pretty special. Next on the stop was the Bridge over the river Kwai!!!! I have to ... read more

Picture Moore street times 100 and that will give you an accurate picture. The hotel is also beside the main river which has tourist boats coming and going all day long. Yesterday we took our first Tuk Tuk (a fun experience which places you right in the thick of the traffic!) to see the 'Giant and Lucky Buddhas'. These are temples where the locals go to pray. Amazing places the buildings and the colours were lovely. ... read more
