Weather Alcatraz sounds amazing, so even more sorry that we didn't manage to get there while in SF. Apart from the fog, the fabulous blue sky in your pics tells me that you had great weather. Hope it continues for Yosemite. Heard today that Team NZ have been trialling out in SF harbour, so wonder if you spotted the trimaran while you were there.

Bon voyage! Hey! - great to read your first blog and so pleased all is going well so far. Guess by the time you hopped on the plane you were all pretty exhausted, so understandable that you had a good sleep(bad luck Brett!)
